LONDON, October 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

Commenting on the The High Court ruling in favour of the Al Rushaid Group on all its claims and the Group being awarded in excess of £3 million Nicola Boulton, Partner, Byrne and Partners said: "This represents a significant victory for the Al Rushaid Group against a bribe payer who caused the Group to suffer major losses including paying over the odds for equipment they purchased from their commercial suppliers. The ruling also demonstrates that the Al Rushaid Group will not hesitate to pursue all available legal remedies against individuals or entities that have caused harm to their business and reputation.  Related cases against other alleged bribe payers and conspirators, including National Oilwell Varco LP and Bank Pictet & Cie SA, remain ongoing."
