So what would be the arbitrage here i.e. how are First Eagle getting a win out of going long this at over the offer price?

Hi Simon no I'm just lurking, though I've just noticed First Eagle's CFD holding's here too.

I'm also tracking First Eagles trades on the and I have followed them in the past with mixed results.

So I'm trying to resist the temptation to blindly follow looks like the cash offer is at £4.35 and I suspect First Eagke are shorting something for the arbitrage or perhaps they believe someone else is in the frame. TPG are a US Private Equity house, seems a bit too complicated for me at the moment though keen to learn.

I know nothing about the company at all. What are your thoughts?
