16/7/2006 11:08 | DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE. I just received an unsolicted mailshot to subscribe. Hook is dividends with no tax but there are no dividends yet and none likely from my reserch. After almost 2 years they have only invested in 3 companies, none of which DYOR appear genuine : Traction Technology Holdings Plc, Consolidated Vending plc and Simultane/Sarah Arnett Ltd. None of these entities come up on Google. Enough said | mryesyes
15/12/2005 09:53 | Can't quite work out the Talisker Pharma investment. Why would a company with sales of $5m come to AGCV for £50,000? Their FD is no fool (Cambridge grad, CA, MBA and good experience at Glaxo) and surely there would be cheaper ways of obtaining such a small sum? Having said that the AGCV boys have pulled off some impossible sounding deals at LSV in the past. | wonder boy
12/12/2005 10:27 | These guys have a good track record. Seem to be operating in a bit of a niche at the smaller end of venture capital investments. Anyone else looking to get on board their new venture capital trust? | wonder boy |
