Now back to the traditional Tethys private investor experience of the past 8 years or so.................It is almost becoming funny!

Yes it's been an absolute dire performance. Makes you wonder if pope actually has any other investors.
Wtf have the likes of jaka, Olisol and bro's actually been doing all of these years to help things along. FA I would say.
I do hope Eurasian Gaz has a decent offer on the table. For all of it, not just a controlling stake.

Dr3dd, conspiracy theory's are for investors, the job of Bill is to secure the production license and sort out the gas sales. I would assume that he is a very busy man at the moment and doesn't need to have speculative theory's diverting his attention from the job in hand.

Maybe somebody who has been in contact with Bill Wells could be so kind as to get in touch with him and let him know about these two major investors and see what the truth is and how he feels about it as the carrier pigeon might not have tapped on his office window yet!

Dr3dd,
Likewise with the expected increase in reserves, just watch how quickly production will be ramped up once they get the go ahead.
All very much expected by people on this board and backs up the theory that the mindset of the big investors has changed from trying to steal the company to trying to grow it.

My thoughts were that they would be new shares say 5 to 10%. With the receipts used to maximise output to achieve the best trade price. Alternatively pay a dividend to the original shareholders pre NYSE listing.

Tankerton
"Can't see an issue of new shares as that would dilute the main shareholders."

As long as it was understood at the time of the auction that the money raised would add to their investment by way of Company value or would not in the case of a dividend , new investors would be able to judge their bids.

Tankerton,
Yes, those kind of investors don't throw their clients money around willy nilly. They have to justify exactly what they're doing and get fantastic returns. For their bonuses and company jollies also.

Fingers crossed we're not wrong.

They might have stopped buying for many reasons of course. Supply, risk limit reached, waiting for price to drop. Waiting for a bit more inside info is my bet. Lets be honest we all know that's how it works. These guys really don't take risks as they like to pretend they do.

With any luck it won't come to that, but you never know with Tethys, seems to be a bit of a magnet for drama's.

I do however think that the fortune 500 company previously buying up chucks of shares. And then going into stealth mode presumably once spotted. Has had a bit of inside info. Not necessarily from Tethys. But from whoever might be sniffing around. Those kind of investors don't buy on the basis of field development plans possibly being approved. They buy because they know something is about to happen for sure.

As I said before, without Bill's stake in this company then people would have lost their investments years ago. While it's easy to be negative given the past history, people need to recognise that things have now changed and all the major investors are now aligned to grow the company. We therefore need to concentrate on what this company can achieve going forward rather than the past.

Ratfan were you the only one in profit apart from the major investors when those 360 multiple 100 trades were made a few days ago? LOL
