Dave, make your own mind up and stop "worrying" about what others are saying - I really doubt anyone trades on the words of a BB poster (if they do - they should not be investing). As a LTH I have traded the spikes since relisting a few weeks back - but agree with you that with this spike .. best not to get too greedy - the share price should settle down soon as investors exit or buy in

Not been here as long as you Chris but also sold out today .. enough is enough..
the trouble with most AIM or small cap investors - myself included - is that we cling on to "hope" .. for things to get better or recover.. sometimes they do and sometimes they do not..
However we got the impression PAA was going to make an acquisition at the end of 2016 and it did not happen and no decent update today .. and that's before the shocking write downs and now 5% interest on the loans!
Sad to say but PAA life support may be switched off sooner rather than later now and I am not going to hold any more - better opportunities out there...
Will continue to monitor Just in case BrickLive or similar happens but how?
GLA remaining holders and fair play to Eezy for calling this right

Last time DC held a vote his proposal to issue more shares was voted down. Perhaps he's 'forgotten' about it as he has a hostile investor (Oryx) who do not want to be involved anymore.

I no longer hold any PAA, but I'm ready to come back in if something good happens.

One thing DC manages to do, and that's never fail to disappoint re: lack of progress. The profit is a result of exceptional items.

To be honest I'm astounded the results were out before Friday, so things are improving(!)

The RNS must kill the enthusiasm of our new investors? My 5k sold at 18p looking better as the day progresses. I do still hold 11k, but TBH I've been making much better returns with money elsewhere to consider buying any back at this stage..

I'm still interested to see what is acquired at year end (Brick live and Heavy Con?), but in referencing 'end of year' DC really means Q1 2017.

Happy Birthday Knigel and good luck with it - I am keeping a close eye on it and hope it recovers somehow for those still in.

JPR is my current big trade (aside from 'sensible' holdings) - Crystal Amber activist investor stakebuilding there ...

Luckily there are companies like GVC that restore investor confidence... spreading your investment over enough different companies/sectors is a good start

It is, to me, the most compelling sign that someone has no idea what he is talking about when he/she believes there is anything other than a trade, involving a buyer and a seller.

PAA, Mr Maccers, is balance sheet insolvent, has no viable business IMO, it's major shareholder is dumping while he can still get a few pennies out. You will, with high probability IMO, lose all or most of your money here. Just like every other mug for 16 years. Go and look at a 17 year chart. The company has been a disaster for investors and it's in worse shape now than ever before IMO.

Stick with it if you will but DD, KN et al have been ramping, ramping, drivel drivel, for years and they've lost most of their money. Just like I said they would. It's highly likely you'll be next IMO.

Good luck and keep working hard at the day job!

What's positive about the recent buying KN? PAA's share price is in a 16+ year downtrend, it is balance sheet insolvent, and currently has no viable business AFAICS. I'd say the recent buying is utterly DEPRESSING, sadly reflecting the rank stupidity of the average Private "Investor". Look at some of the posts you see about PAA - oooh, the market cap is only 400k etc. They are pathetic IMVHO.

"Response from PAA nothing to worry about folks just talk talk hackers lol"

"The RNS was issued due to a very small number of investors receiving unsolicited emails from a suspicious firm based in New York requesting confidential information on their shareholdings."

"Such attempted share scams are not uncommon and there is nothing to be concerned about. If you should ever receive unsolicited correspondence requesting confidential information on your shareholding, then please contact Parallel Media Group and the company can clarify the veracity of the correspondence (or not)."
