THE MOUSE says "There are perhaps just a handful of investors left on these boards whose opinions are worth listening too".

is he including himself when he says the above, if he does, he is kidding himself, he has lost a fortune on AVN and other like disasters. He is a walking investment disaster.

Because he has been hurt by others, he now takes satisfation in other people's misfortune, not a very nice guy.

No TU from the company. This does not bode well for investors

Anyone buying around the 4p mark will no doubt have made a shrewd investment in perhaps a year or two. Timing is always an issue with any investment, but for the first time in ages I would not be a seller. IM looks to be addressing the problems within & for once investors should take some comfort from this. For the record I am now back on board & may add again in the near future

In very simplistic terms BVM has consistently generated profits (albeit lumpy) for at least a decade but over this same period has stagnated under its old management with revenue flat at around GBP 9m / annum. EPS of 1p from a similar t/o has been achieved in historical years. They appear to have a great client base from which to leverage. In the next 6-12 months when Ian has finished sweeping up and their offices and central costs are rationalised and they have a more motivated and energised workforce along with new product to sell this should be a great turnaround with very little downside risk other than those normally attributed to all micro-caps (liquidity and the like). WHI have a 6p price target which seems very achievable in the medium term with a double digit valuation longer term (possible negative macro issues to one side).

It would be good to hear from investors on the sell / bear side to dampen my enthusiasm please...

Agreed although JK had 4.5m shares that needed a new home (after Ian bought 3m of his 7.5m sale) - I assume some of these 4.5m have been taken by Chelverton to avoid an overhanging seller but that said I agree its very reassuring. Still another 1.5m shares needing a home unless bought by retail investors - I have certainly had some.

On a serious note, I've never purported to be a champion investor either. The blog is simply a labour of love on my part, unfortunately I appear to have stood on a couple of trolls along the way. In future I shall return to ignoring them again rather than indulging in the art of "troll baiting". :) Indeed I should act as the grown-up.

My blog is simply a warts and all account of my thoughts on certain shares that I buy and sell, and my brief opinions on several other companies. Take it or leave it as they say.

Best of luck to holders here, it'll remain on my monitor.

Cheers.
Michael.

"a champion investor"

That's very kind of you to say so. Thank you.

Michael.

Personally I am looking forward to the results as I hope they will facilitate the start of a new era for the company and will allow investors greater insight into the investment case (or not as the case may be).

David. Totally agree especially given that companies specifically undertake these 'roadshows' and quite often in London (when the company may be based elsewhere in the UK and hence rather inaccessible to a number of investors). I was planning on attending the AGM tomorrow but have spoken to management and instead plan to meet up with them after the HY results are out. I am hoping this meeting will be an open invite to other private investors.

Personally i think all companies should provide the same presentation at Agms to individual private investors that they have given institutional investors the benefit of just a few weeks before when the results are released.

That way more shareholders and investors would make the effort to attend and engage with directors and companies would be less flippant in saying nobody goes to Agms....make them more interesting then !
