lefrene, plastic free tetra paks have been in use since 2018 by Isle of Man Creamery. Now, all their milk (probably over 90% of all milk produced and consumed on the Island)is sold in these plant based cartons.I understand the "plastic" bits are made from sugar cane.

I expected trials to be well underway by now but I shouldn't be surprised they are not.

ZTF is not in control of the timing of adoption of this fairly new product. It is a very big decision for potential customers and they are bound to be risk averse and will require require exhaustive testing before they proceed. The fact that they are actively engaging is in itself a very good sign.

ZTF invested $1 million last year in a pilot extrusion facility in the US and it has now committed a further £1/2 million in the current year to progress those trials/commercialisation of the technology. Coming on top of a major capital investment programme on upgrading/adding facilities, I consider that pretty aggressive and by no means glacial.

Considering they first announced the tech in October 19 it certainly is for the very patient.Their usual glacial speed.

added a few. the rezorce costs seem a small price to pay for the possibiliy of a deal with tetrapack. got to be up a chunk if that happens. with the stock on fcf/e of 4% i think the upside is pretty appealing if a contract emerges which seems a bit more than 50:50 to me. anyone else got any more insightful thoughts?

Revenue forecast to be up circa £18m and profit down a little over £1m compared to the previous year.Sounds like good progress being made with new packaging product.G.

Capital would have to be raised in some way.Four extruders costing £30 million to create film worth £700 - 800 million would just be starter.Licensing an option with partners.All this in recent shareholder presentations. - Interesting possibilties that could fulfill what MuCell has so far failed to.DYOR.

Wonder if this could be lift off year for ZTF.Putting aside the continuing costs of supply chain,raw materials and power supplies,I would expect ReZorce to eventually raise its profile in a hot sector.By March results or possibly before we shall know if its proven beyond concept.We have been told they have multi partners lined up in a market worth 300 billion.This is for a billion cartons which would be nearly the size of ZTF today

Surprised at the rise today, in light of the news. I differ to the market it seems.

My view is now negative in the short term due to cost pressures etc.

Glavey, do you not recall that during the last presentation they addressed the cost pressures, and stated they had raised their prices, not fully in line with the rises but in their and their customers interests, which makes for the positive customer goodwill but I am sure they continue to monitor this and will address the price they charge as the market changes.

One of the most important aspects, is that they completed all major investment, when they opened the factory in Poland last year. So now they can reap the rewards on behalf of all stakeholders.

I would also think that the opening of the airlines industry might have assisted as well a little, as they were holding a lot of high value stock when it all slowed down.
So a bit of swings and roundabouts I expect.

Trading statement should be due this week.Footwear might not look too pretty but maybe offset by some clarity on ReZorce. Green is good.
