04/5/2020 07:50 | A very very encouraging update in my opinion. Strong cash collection mentioned to reassure the market. Stuart Green’s comments ...” The current environment has encouraged industry change and the investments made in prior periods to scale our business mean we are well placed to meet our customers' needs." All very reassuring and signs are that ZOOdubs could be an answer to the the problems content owners face. Add in the two recent dubbing hires at The company, another one of which has a Disney background, I believe ZOOdubs is going to be a success long term. NIA and DYOR | martina pescatore
04/5/2020 07:29 | All sounds good to me. Recovery continuing and share price a long way to go! | philjeans
04/5/2020 07:27 | Encouraging but dubbing still being trialed whereas I thought it would have taken off by now. At least dubbing got mentioned so I suppose there is still hope this will start to generate meaningful revenues soon. | amt
28/4/2020 14:02 | More website news. Two new senior hires in the dubbing arena plus growing the London premises. That's an interesting one as they are home working. Thinking ahead?Say due to increased workload prior to and as a consequence of the virus. What's not to like | nicyts
28/4/2020 12:05 | Website news again.Zoo appears to be suggesting industry wide adoption of its zoodubs technology. They imply major content owners are onboard. If as suggested the bricks and mortar dubbing studios are and will remain closed for a while then this suggestion may have some friends. Streamers must be desperate to introduce new products. Content difficult to make but with Zoo can be localised. The news also confirms zoo dubbing for major studios etc. They are probably the only game in town. | nicyts
24/4/2020 14:16 | See from the website that Zoo is giving something back.Always good when a company is socially responsible.Nice to invest in a company that has a heart. | nicyts
22/4/2020 13:32 | More new job vacancies on the zoo website since Monday. | martina pescatore
22/4/2020 07:30 | Netflix added nearly 16 million net new customers in the first three months of the year and they said that the majority of these were from outside the USA. This further illustrates the strong underlying demand for subtle and dubbing work. | martina pescatore
21/4/2020 22:22 | And Disney is doing ok as well. Both clients! | gerihatrick
21/4/2020 21:58 | Blowout numbers at Netflix tonight. | amt
19/4/2020 08:06 | Dubbing is where we make the margins and from the clues that sounds promising! | gerihatrick
18/4/2020 22:58 | Ticker at about 1.5m per week recently. Used to be less than 1m. So perhaps annual sales for next interims to Sep 2020 may be up 40 or 50 % vs comparative if it continues. | amt
17/4/2020 19:37 | Is dubbing keeping up? If it is what does that mean? Market cap little over 50 million. What should it be? | nicyts
17/4/2020 19:34 | Ticker 0ver 350 000 000 . That is moving at a pace. No doubt someone can confirm that it is still speeding up or not. | nicyts

17/4/2020 15:59 | Doubled from its (first ??) Corona dip bottom. I didn't top up down there though :-( Only just getting to my break even point. I hope this has legs. | cokehookerscars
16/4/2020 08:16 | Another news item on Zoos website highlighting their dubbing prowess. | nicyts
16/4/2020 08:14 | Yes things looking very good now with the ticker taking off and if people posting here are right dubbing also. | amt
16/4/2020 07:48 | Looking at the Zoo website NBC Universal are clearly prominent as one of the content owners that trust Zoo. Looking at the Post Production section of Zoos website there are three company logos clearly listed: Disney, Netflix PFP and NBC Universal. Looking at recent Zoo tweets, I am encouraged by the tweet on 14 April 2020, stating ...” ZOO is working with customers and the #dubbing industry to rapidly upscale its existing cloud dubbing services to help established directors and voice artists to make the switch to work-from-home dubbing....” The part about working with customers AND the dubbing industry is very intriguing. Also “to help established directors and voice artists” etc. It could be that the the industry needs Zoos technology. If that is the case, and under the global lockdown situation, how else can content owners get their content dubbed professionally and securely (?) then I would expect Zoo to be awfully busy for the foreseeable and there is the potential that those that switch to Zoodubs for the moment might never go back to the old way. 15/4/2020 13:59 | Regarding the ZOOsubs ticker I have kept loose records over the last few months, trying to capture the number every Friday morning. Some Fridays were missed though. Looking back to my data to October 2019, the weekly ave is in the 800k; In November 2019 it is in the 900k; In December 2019 it is closer to 650k; In January 2020 it is again close to 650k; In February 2020 it is close to 865k; In March 2020 it was consistently in excess of 1M per week; Over the last 5 weeks the blended average weekly rate is almost exactly 1.5M. Hope this helps. NIA and DYOR | martina pescatore
15/4/2020 10:43 | In the last week 2 new job openings have been listed in the mid-level dubbing management operations. They will be ao "managing a small but growing team". If I do a quick scan on "dubbing" of the 1,014 currently affiliated persons on Zoo's linkedin page, I can see a number of recently hired dubbing personnel (senior and mid level, in Q1 and April this year). Some earlier hires in the dubbing sphere of Zoo have some explicit mentions of their responsibilities including: "My team managed the communication for all European dubs to enable to timely launch of Disney+", "Supervise, manage and coordinate international dubbing and contact services process from start to finish for Disney + and other clients." Another thing that struck me is the prior working experience Zoo's employees; they often have worked at Disney before. But we knew of the strong ties between Zoo and Disney already. A small piece of the puzzle. DYOR. | snoper
15/4/2020 10:01 | Certainly speeding up. The issue is how dubbing is doing?Activity map is more active and impression is that they have taken on a number of dubbing director's. This is the area they have real competitive advantage because their system is set up for home working. If this area has had a similar increase then it would bode well. | nicyts |
