Dear Mr Hunt

Thank you for your e-mail.

As you quite rightly note, the group is transitioning from loss making to
profitability and we believe that we have a bright future ahead of us.
Clearly we are unable to give you information that is not in the public
domain but we can confirm that there are no plans for any further placings
at this time and the cash flow is improving in line with general trade.

As a shareholder you will know that our AGM is to be held on Monday 6
October at 11am. As well as the standard AGM agenda items we would like to
demonstrate some of our latest products and be available to answer any
questions you may have. Should you wish to attend it will be a great
opportunity for you to learn more about ZOO.

The meeting will take place in our offices at The Tower, 2 Furnival Square,
Sheffield S1 4QL. Directions can be found on our website at

Itemid=63

If you would like to attend we would be grateful if you could let us know to
ensure we arrange the appropriate level of catering.

Thank you very much for your support

jj7,

Wording used by zoo has been 'trading positively' for first 4 months of new f/y, and 'profitable after 5 months'. Neither means cash-flow positive. Have seen on an independant commentary somewhere that even though a small profit may be reported, cash outflow is still expected due to continuing ongoing development costs. Hence the need to raise yet more cash.

could it be that more or less figures in/out are adding up to cash flow positive?, and needed just this premium token amount to get current new crop of products out? I think we have a good chance of seeing rns or inclusion in report of a new tool/product to add to portfolio. This is the way I see it, we have had reported 5 months running at cash flow positive, dont need much to tip us fully in that direction.. I reckon its not too far fetched to get lots more custom for the MAT tool... as I understand the immediate usefulness of that product to the global design community... as well as the entertainment sector.

One thing's for sure ... sub-£500k (after placing costs) won't last long the way they're chewing through the cash, so either the new extra dough really is only needed short term, or there will be another placing again soon.

Wonder why Foresight VCT didn't join in the cash call?

I believe we will see another large contract soon hence them raising only the cash required for the short term in the placing. The 25% premium is leads me to this conclusion.

you could assume that DRH, but have learnt rather expensively not to assume anything with zoo. so time will indeed tell.

My reading of the placing at 15p leads me to believe that the share price will be north of said value post H1+agm
