Devonport, nice to hear from you and thank you for that carefully thought out analysis of the situation. Intelligent and thoughtfully constructed comments are always welcome.

Here we go again another bunch of animals in the Zoo. You lot seem even less intelligent than the last crew. At least with cashmagnet when the value of my Zoo shares were diminishing I could at least take some comfort from that fact that I didn't have to worry about taking Isabella Hervey out or my flying car or being abducted by aliens...............etc.

CHESTY1...Its always been a £1 or a penny stock. The question was could it build the business and change the working practices of the Conservative film studios before it ran out of money. Now with cash in the bank and the statement that they will be cash flow positive this year, the answer looks like being yes, the £1+ doesnt look so distant. It just depends how fast they can mop up the remaining studios and role out around the rest of the world to see how high it can rise. The gap between pig and hero aint that big on AIM. For exceptionally illiquid stocks like ZOO, the gains can be spectacular.

Chesty..best not to hold too many in one account, cos if things turn sour you will struggle to offload at a decent price with every sale hitting the bid.

and with Aimers even the seemingly better stocks can turn sour in a nanosecond.....TAN, SMC just to name 2.

double the NMS max.

IF this one does show signs of profits & turnaround this will be just the beginning of the move north.

I wish I had added a lot more at 9.3p but after the event its easy to say.

I wouldnt be suprised to find that rumours concerning Sonic Solutions and its potential aquisition of Zoo start to arise over the next year or so. Sonic is valued on Nasdaq at $122million, it operates in two segments, consumer and professional dvd authoring. The professional segment is in direct competition with Zoo for the major film Studios. With Zoo making heavy inroads and now having tied up two of the majors and subcontracting via scope 7 with others, I am sure Sonic would like to both remove the increasing competition and gain the Zoo platform. Aside from gaining the technologies the cost synergies for Sonic are obvious.
As Zoo moves cash flow positive and deepens relationships with the remaining studios, it should lead to an interesting situation.

I wonder if the alarm bells have started ringing in the head office for Gamblers Anonymous. Pity I am going to be away from a screen for the next few days as I may miss all the fun!. Good luck all.

imagine the forward pe they could attract, if they could turn the company profitable, with cash, during the worst economic downturn in a decade or more.....

If they announce a return to profit it could double at that point.....as the valuation is compelling with a profit and the cash...combined with strong revenue growth and excellent long term contract wins
