26/8/2008 10:33 | scotty1, It would be nice to at least get my money back - anything above that would be wonderful after all these years of LTBHing. It would be particularly pleasing to be able to feel that I 'called it right' - even if my timing was about 5 years out! Good luck all. | bodgit

26/8/2008 09:29 | it all looks a little bit like zoo / scope7 are going to be what gdmx is to warner bros. - a sort of in-house (but separate entity) technology and services provider which also provides production services to other hollywood studios. | aphzombie
26/8/2008 09:09 | I was thinking exactly the same thing JJ:-) | redpin

26/8/2008 08:52 | well here's the something of interest.... looks like zootech/scope7 have been "deepening the relationships with major studios" that we keep on hearing about: Apparently Disney Channel is releasing Hanna Montanna series on dvd and is including 2008 Disney Channel Games as bonus feature on the box-set. In addition (and this is the good bit) .... Walt Disney Home Entertainment is releasing NEW Hanna Montanna AND High School Musical DVD games on same day (November). The crucial bit here is that, previously, both games were DVD Board Games which scope 7 produced for MATTEL. This time, it looks like they are pure DVD Games and yes, you've sussed it already, they are produced directly for Disney. All this points to the important fact that zoo/scope are now firmly embedded within the working practices of probably all of Disney's family of companies. Which, knowing this relationship, will be taking advantage of zoo's full family of dvd (and marketing/packaging) products... a big accolade in itself. | jacobjohn7
26/8/2008 07:10 | well by the time results come out, they'll know, near as, what they've done H1 2008/9...or if its much longer...bob on. couldn't care less what they did last yr, we know that already..its what they say going forward that matters. | deanroberthunt

25/8/2008 21:05 | jj7, someone who does it for you..... hmmm, consenting adults and all that! After so long of what seems like radio silence from ZOO, almost any news would be welcome. I still feel good about ZOO, despite being well underwater on these. Time will tell. Good luck all. | bodgit

25/8/2008 08:50 | positives... largest sustatined rise for a yr or so classsic charting recovery cup formation with gap up to 20p current valuation priced for bust robust recent long term contract wins, decent revenue stability going forward more than half the mcap in cash possibility that all the mistakes, heavy dilution (placings), problems with integrating acquisitions are behind them company saying that they are aiming for monthly profitability in this financial yr negatives weak balance sheet AIM listed stock, illiquid, large spread and poorly regualted* still showing a fy loss, inability to control costs to date still a minnow and not established, thus earnings visibility is poor bear market and poor economic outlook for at least another year further dilution for deferred payments of the acquisition *poor record of Directors being economical with the truth (to put it midly) to the detriment of shareholders | deanroberthunt
25/8/2008 08:32 | yet another similarity to another stock we hold.... nature of the beast. | deanroberthunt
24/8/2008 22:56 | JJ It must be that time of the year again - lots of anticipation followed by much disappointment. I do hope not. Regards UK | uknighted
24/8/2008 22:37 | scope 7 are doing an awful lot of recruiting at present, dvd software guys.. which says to me, more customers to service... we now have an almost captive audience for the tech. we dont have any competitors, and the tech has moved on way past anything any of us ever dreamed of. Things are getting exciting around here! Lets hope its sustained, and indeed we do have a reason for the excitement, for me it seems like 3+ years of investing may finally come to fruition or at least pay me back my losses..! | jacobjohn7
24/8/2008 18:11 | i got into these at the right time by the looks of it... In at 9.4p & hoping for some good news here & soon. Be lucky to all & has ZOO turned the corner results will tell all. Bring em on. | chesty1

23/8/2008 09:14 | DRH Yes, in fact you could pick'nmix from two :-) Regards UK | uknighted
23/8/2008 08:22 | it certainly looks like a classic recovery now....but its far from nailed on with AIMers.....short term it could gap up to 20p from a purely charting technical perspective, but in order to sustain any rise and kick on, the management have to deliver, first a profit, then sustain it, then deliver eps growth....uknighted, now what does that sound like! at £2m mcap, and with half that in cash (currently), wouldn't take much of a turnaround to obtain a re-rating....but can they control costs? mid-long term, and does the business model support a growth story.....stay tuned. rgs | deanroberthunt
23/8/2008 08:18 | or even new comers...... | deanroberthunt
