R0B008...I am losing track of what you are trying to say. Is it that TAS was used to create an iDVD or DVD Extra was used to create standard DVD's?....If its ZOO's own work I am sure they would use bits of everything but for customers the basic point of TAS is for novice users to simply create a standard DVD. And DVD extra is for sophisticated users to create complex iDVD's.
DVD Extra isnt template driven so its a sledgehammer and time consuming way of cracking an egg. TAS is template driven and doesnt have the flexibility to produce an iDVD.

That's a question to put to ZOO not me... Ask them if tas was used in any way to produce WWTBAM 4 and see what they say.

If they were interactive dvd's Rob they would say so. TAS is one part of an authoring suite developed by Zoo, so why would you use it to perform what can already be done by DES? dosent make sense when you really think about it does it.

My point is that there is no stipulation made as to what those dvd's are, they could be just interactive dvd's. Any customer of ZOO's will be a big customer. It doesn't say film dvd's and that's my point.

Anyway hope zoo make it, good luck.

R0B008.....iDVD's are created using DVD extra. Part of the agreement with many users is that the DVD extra logo appears on the case.
Standard DVD's that have used TAS in production would not carry a "TAS" logo. Its a production tool. Disney could produce every DVD for 10 years using TAS and you would never know.
Hope that clears it up for you.
ps...The same applies to all other users of TAS.

i think tas was tested to produce the Bourne Supremacy dvd by Universal Studios but don't think Universal use it anymore, they maybe thought ZOO was going to go bust and so pulled out, who knows?

the trading statement for me merely provides a platform for the new sales team to work from, ie by reassuring the potential tas users that the company aint going to fold, but again who knows?

Ok, well i didnt look into this close enough, just got a general expression from the overview of Interims. Had a small punt in this today and decided to look at the story before putting my money in - maybe you know better if you have genuine interest in this company.

soul-trade...Actually no, they wiped out all debt along the way. Actual cashburn was just 400k in the second half. Hence the interest. With 2m in the bank and fast accelerating sales it makes it a very attractive proposition.

So where did those 2 mil come from ? Well, if you look at the Interims for 2006, you will notice that they raised 4 mils, now they have 2mil left - thats 2 mil cashburn for the year - is this good ? Well not really..
Still not convinced..

As far as I can see tas has only been used for interactive dvd's but I could be wrong... Where does it say tas has been used on major film releases?

Anyone want a company for free?....pay 1.9m for ZOO at the current share price and you get 2m back in cash and the company for free.
Perhaps some of the old sceptics will say you were being robbed, but then again for such a new company with a healthy cashpile and growing recurring income streams from multiple companies in 2 distinct sectors, it seems a very good deal to me :)
