Aerotus...This morning it had an share price of 1m....announced it had 2m in the bank and sales were on the up......considering you have just accepted a jod as an analyst, I hope it is not with a pension fund. They have enough problems as it is.

Of course I'm short. I didn't say that I was betting the house on it. Just a token bet for old times sake!

440 million shares in issue ... why illiquid?

During its seemingly never ending slide this one dumped just about every weak holder there was. Then the consolidation made them irrelevant and locked up the stock in the hands of long termers making it one of the most illiquid stocks traded.......now we start to see a turnaround in the companies fortunes and stock is as rare as hens teeth....a nice situation :)

thats 10% of the company traded so far.......considering its so illiquid that means just about all the free float is now in the hands of new long term holders or traders. Should be an interesting few months :)

Yep

and the papers will pick up on it tomorrow and say Zoo had a huge rise on the back of bullish statement and still only vavled around Cash in the bank thus leading to another big rise in share price

Aero, sometimes you just have to admit to yourself that you have called something wrong. If you had shorted zoo when you said you had, for a reasonable sum on margin, you would be down several times your margin at the moment, and the betting/cfd company would either be closing you out, or giving you a nuisance call for more (much more) margin. The thought that you can simply double up if a short goes wrong (given normal margin requirements and normal sized bets) is just nonsense. I'm doubting you have never shorted anything in your life (and I hope you haven't shorted zoo, or you are likely to go the way of Cash, only in a matter of hours or days, not years).
