I was interested in this until I realised that the 1.63 eps were in US cents! I also notice that pre-excep eps was 2.11 last year, a fact they have quietly omitted. Still, they are growing.

Yes, a bit of a one trick pony atm. But perhaps IC have been briefed about positive developments in the future.

I made a quick, though modest turn on ZRX last year. But there's just not enough volume or interest and the spread is usually large.
Perhaps now they've been spotted & tipped thery'll get more interest.

I notice HOOD are a MM nowadays. Hmmm! Never a good sign to see them appearing on a stock, although there are exceptions.

Seems Zirax did already manage to get in to the print media today. The Independent 'Small Talk' section has an article entitled 'Moscow warms to Zirax' - and they (The Indy) correctly said the news could be made public as soon as today. So the gossip and Indy were right.

More sells than I would have expected today - but price is holding up reasonably well - therefore can only presume the MM's have a 'known' buyer available.

HH... yes.... the 'new' markets (N & W Africa, ME) are expanding generally anyway. So with it's core operation in Russia and it's foray into the 'new' markets it should be isolated from US/Europe downturn.

PS ... yes.... I wish I'd bought more than I did now as well...

Hi Don.

Yes, good timing, though, the bullish chart patterns helped me make the decision to buy when I did (of course, now I wish I'd bought a few more! lol).

That's a big (& prestigious) contract ZRX have had renewed, it's most encouraging.

I'll be continuing to add along the way, particularly if there are signs of increased liquidity, as ZRX eventually come to the attention of the wider investing public with contract wins like this.

NB: I like the bullish footnote on future prospects included in the RNS:

Commenting on this announcement, Valery Andosov, Chief Executive of Zirax said:
"I am delighted that Zirax will continue to work with Moscow City Council in
order to service and maintain the city's infrastructure during the autumn and
winter periods. This is also an exciting time for Zirax as we look to double
capacity and develop the oilfield service markets of North and West Africa and
the Middle East.

Nice see it at position 1 on the advfn gainers board this morning - especially given todays market. Let's see if anyone else reads this thread now?

Andas it's only Monday then should get some mention in the print media by Friday .... so despite this mornings rise then that further 'interest' should give it an additional boost by the weekend. Especially given its illiquidity and the probability that none/few original IPO holders are going to part with their shares anytime yet.

Don - I agree, the downside does appear to look minimal at these levels.

However, having watched the trades pages for a while I think there has probably been a steady trickle of pre-IPO investors selling 50-100k tranches, this, combined with low volumes in general (because very few people have ZRX on their radars atm) has encouraged the MMs to hold the price down, but these are just short term considerations and it seems the selling is drying up and fresh buyers are slowly appearing.
I agree there is substantial potential for a considerable re-rating, over time, if the ZRX management deliver on the undoubted potential of the company, success will inevitably bring ZRX to the attention of a wider range of investors.

I think I'll just accumulate a few thousand at a time as I don't usually buy shares that are this illiquid with such a large spread (though, as you say, you can usually deal well inside the spread), especially in an 'iffy market'.
I've dipped a toe in today with a small nibble, I'll continue buying in several small tranches to build up my holding as and when conditions look favourable.

HH ... thanks for the reply.

Yes, spread is a little off-putting. But you can get well inside it.
Fairly small 'free float' and 'interesting' major holders.
Therefore I'm already a holder. Other than it going bust then can't see share price falling by any further significant amount - and if more 'good' news comes along then might rise by a significant %. Just my 2p's worth.

Hello Don.

"anyone else out there interested in this stock?"

Yes, I've been watching ZRX for a while, but have yet to buy.

The low volumes and spread have made me wary of buying (as have recent market conditions) but I'm very tempted as ZRX looks to be a company with excellent potential.

I'll be watching carefully for further signs of buying pressure.

well ... at least someone somewhere must have an interest in this stock .... as someone bought £3675 worth this morning .... which moved the bid price up.

anyone else out there interested in this stock?

Interesting .... despite the only transaction being a 60k sell, the offer price has ticked up this morning (and the bid price ticked up yesterday).

Given number of posts on this board since it started then it's fair to say not many PI's are interested in it. But even given large spread it has interesting potential for the future if you are willing to buy & hold after doing your own research.
