The powell rate rise/QT effect has been completely forgotten about, it hasn’t gone away. The russian/ukraine war is a sideshow to it really.

I think there could well have been a bigger sell off by now in the wider market if interest rates weren't so low. It's not as if you can get a decent return on cash currently. There's been a kind of seesaw between the fortunes of energy and recovery stocks on every twist and turn of events. I have both as a kind of hedge. I don't think there's going to be a really big market sell off imminently but I could be wrong and nobody knows how the Ukrainian situation may develop, probably not even Putin?!

All the clean energy stuff getting smoked. Wonder how low it goes before stabilising. The wider market hasn’t really begun it’s proper sell-off. Still have maniacs buying the dip because it’s all they’ve ever known. This stuff has been way more beaten up.

When do you expect to see value here?

Still in exploration/development phase.

In my opinion the Germany links to Russian energy is one of the reason this has not recovered. Now factored into the share price and now represents more reward and in the long run these issues will get resolved. The under the radar factor often creates performance chasing opportunity that I prefer rather than buy something everyone is looking at and is well priced to a level where I can not add any value.

Results last Tuesday??????????
Thanks. I found them by Googling, Strangely they did not come up on my daily list. I look forward to reading them, but since no one has reported anything from them, they must have been pretty uninformative.

So energy prices and how do they affect ZNWD? How will ZNWD address the potential affects on the project economics ?The process plant design comprises a pre-concentration stage to produce an initial concentrate prior to roasting. The concentrate is subsequently heated in a kiln, at approximately 950 degrees Celsius, in combination with limestone and gypsum.

Last year the FY results were published on Feb 26, so I hope for similar timing this year, either perhaps Monday Feb 28th or some other day next week.

The ATH in the metal price continues to push higher every 2-3 days. This week it reached Y460.500/T =$73,680/T = $73.68/Kg, but it seems to have no link with the Share Price of any Li-share , which have ALL weakened slightly this week.

I hope to see an update to the feasibility study published in Sept 2019 when the Li price was bottoming out through oversupply at only Y50.000/T and has increased since then by 820% - an extraordinary number for any commodity.

That study showed NPV of £428m and an IRR of 27.4%. Any update should show a substantial multiple of these figures to reflect the current metal price and push the market to a realistic reappraisal of ZNWD's capitalisation.

From today's RNS

"The Group has started the process of updating the feasibility study to be based on the production of Lithium Hydroxide. This will also include value engineering work, finalisation of the plant locations, review of the potential to produce a tin by-product, refinement of the plans for co-product production, and the potential for sale of its quartz sand by-products."

if that were true there would be little point in calculating IRR and NPV in a feasibility study. Of course the proximate purpose is to ease the finaning but the resource value is what one pays for.

Nevertheless it is interesting that the lithium shares most upward trending recently have been ALL/PLL and BLH, the three of which have resolved the funding even though ZNWD will be the earliest producer of the current non producers.

In any case ZNWD wll be producing battery grade carbonate to supply directly to the giga factories built nearby.

You can bang on about lithium prices but it is not a producer do makes no difference with regards to that Only thing high and lithium prices will support is a decent financing package or any potential off take agreement

A further three consecutive ATHs since my last post. The Lithium price is now Y402,500/T ie $64,400/T or $64.4/kg.

That's 475% higher than exactly 12 months ago!

The feasibility study ,released in May 2019 showed Net Present Value of the project at the time as £428m and an IRR pretax of 27.4%. Surely when an update is provided to adjust to the current price of lithium we should have those previous values multiplied by 575% x = £2.46 billion before adjustments for any changes in the mining and production plans. The IRR will surely have satisfied Croesus.

I truly hope for such an update when FY results are published next week (if last year's timelines are echoed - from 26 Feb 2021).
What could that do to the share price which, currently at an 8-month low, does not reflect any of the increased value of the Resource during 2019/2022?

Today's sudden strong share price action seems to be pointing to something - perhaps to the above facts.
