06/6/2024 13:26 | Hope you dont mind me creating a link cat.You just need to make one of the first 5letters a capital | saint in exile
06/6/2024 13:15 | Good summary of the well updatehttps://oilman | cat33
06/6/2024 12:25 | Agreed. The flowrates are what needed to confirm the opportunity/scale to a bigger player."Zephyr Energy's flagship asset is an operated 46,000-acre leaseholding located in the Paradox Basin, Utah which has been assessed by third party consultants Sproule International to hold, net to Zephyr, 2P reserves of 2.6 mmboe, 2C resources of 34 mmboe and 2U resources 270 mmboe"I think we are just weeks away from this, here's hoping things go as planned.Cash | cashandcard
06/6/2024 12:22 | Even 50 wells @ $6m a well say....small beer to some cash rich oilers. Happy to see ZPHR partner up, just trust we don't get a poor deal. | molatovkid

06/6/2024 12:04 | We really need a partner with deep pockets if we are to develop 200 wells in the Paradox from a timescale and funding point or view.If the figures are good it wont be hard | saint in exile
06/6/2024 11:38 | Don't you think they have already shown many potential partners what the paradox acreage is capable of !! My guess is that several big names are also waiting for the flow rates !! | parsons4
06/6/2024 11:34 | If they can show what this play is capable of, the prospect of a partner to assist with development would be amazing. Cash | cashandcard
06/6/2024 10:58 | From TP 'The blowout of State 36-2 reported on 11 April 2023 resulted in hydrocarbon release from the original well in an uncontrolled manner over three days. This left an impression of a large well capable of producing significant volumes of both natural gas and high-API gas condensate (that typically trades on a price/bbl slightly above WTI). Today’s high impact drilling results from State 36-2R reinforce this expectation'. | 2 solaris
06/6/2024 09:31 | It is beginning to sound like a huge discovery in Zephyr's acreage and I bet Malcy will not be lowering his 20p target. This has been worth waiting for. | 2 solaris
06/6/2024 09:28 | You may need to go to LSE for full TP note but here is a paragraph. Rock pore pressure analysis suggests formation pressures estimated at c.9,300 pounds per square inch (which is broadly consistent with previously drilled offset wells). Furthermore, it confirms the presence of hydrocarbons within a large structural compartment that falls within Zephyr's acreage and 3D seismic coverage. The coming weeks will see equipment mobilised for well completion and commencement of production testing. This will determine reservoir pressure, fluid composition, well flow rate, bulk reservoir permeability and deliver an early estimate of the overall potential recoverable resources. A successful outcome could then be translated quite rapidly into 2P reserves and potentially spike overall Group production from Q4 2024/Q1 2025. | 2 solaris
06/6/2024 09:21 | New Turner pope note Following this, output might be expected to rise steadily on a quarterly basis. Assuming expectations of the scale of the discovery can be confirmed along with its implications for the greater field development, TPI considers it possible that Zephyr may at some point seek to partner with a larger oil producer, in order to accelerate development of the overall Paradox Basin play. This would likely be based on upfront/ milestone payments plus free carry for Zephyr as it earns-in to the opportunity Won't let me post a link | polysale
06/6/2024 09:07 | Will H&P be doing the production testing side of it too? | saint in exile
06/6/2024 09:03 | Let's hope the testing goes to plan. So far, H&P have done a great job to get this far safely and without trouble. Hoping for confirmation of commercial flowrates in a few weeks from now.Cash | cashandcard
06/6/2024 08:33 | This is getting very exciting.Cant wait to see those figures barring accidents.9000psi is a phenomenal amount of pressure.Would imagine the majors will be watching this closely | saint in exile
06/6/2024 08:04 | The well has been a resounding success now it only remains to be seen how much it will flow. This is the plus side of high pressure and I expect good figures. I hope CH will do an interview, perhaps even a question and answer session as there is still a lot in the pipeline, pardon the pun! | 2 solaris
06/6/2024 08:01 | Boom next stop 0.0633 blue sky above | judkay
06/6/2024 07:47 | 9300psi - wow.! No wonder Colin is delighted.:) | mojad5
06/6/2024 07:28 | Another great update, all looking very positive for the future. | thinking
06/6/2024 07:25 | Is 9300 very high for pressure and does higher pressure mean greater flow, or how does it work? | arooster
06/6/2024 07:19 | Good news. Big chunk de-risked although don’t see the market getting too excited until flow rates announced and confirmed its commercial. A lot of work still to do and confirm yet over the coming weeks. I always felt the TD has been baked into the price, thus it’s the flow numbers that will give us the next lift. However great to see the drill hit TD with no issues Interesting times | haveapunt1 |
