Malcy is getting excited


So, Zephyr is very close now to the Cane Creek reservoir and is about to drill the final few feet into the natural fracture system that caused all the trouble before. Indeed as it points out above the two wells are only ten feet away, somewhat spooky I would have thought…

This is now getting very exciting, all the is required at TD is to set the liner, take away the rig and then test….

Or run like hell


Any day now and we can all come out from behind the sofa..

There's a little wariness in the air , this will only be completely dispelled when the well is completed , tested and put into production. On the production front the other wells also need to be put into production. With all of that in place then there's a timing and funding issue to be resolved around the new helium project. With patience and a little luck this will all come to pass. What's pretty clear is that the herd are not running at this.....yet. I suspect that we are probably a couple of proof points away from hearing the rumblings of a stampede!

Noted that final financial results were stated to be released tomorrow but can't see that mentioned on ZPHR's website. Looking at previous RNS records of final results it appears most have been released at the end of June (28th or thereabouts). However, in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021 they were released on June 7th. So, if it is an earlier June date this year it would be wonderful if it was accompanied by some really positive drilling news. Soon find out! Tomorrow or Friday/Monday? Come on ZPHR!

All going to plan according to RNS. Obviously, extra care is being taken to make sure we have a success. If they weren't going to produce they would not be setting a production liner, precision is a good choice of word by CH. Next stop Cane Creek and the natural fracture.

PS CH is keeping to his word about keeping us all informed of progress which is very rare. More to come very soon by the sound of it as he says once more, "We will keep our stakeholders updated as drilling operations progress."
