festario.
You pop up on more sites than I do. Although this is not really the place for irrelevant chatter.
I am dead straight about my age. I was 93 when posting frequently on VRS and met Neill Ricketts (of VRS) a couple of times. He has guts as do most rugby players, if foolhardy to be playing at his age or trying to make something useful out of graphene. Noone has succeded at that.. Verditek, has also just gone bust whilst collaborating unsuccessfully with Paragraf of Cambridge, trying to improve solar panels..

it's been very difficult to succeed with innovation in th Uk during the last 20 years. there is no appetite in banks to back emtrepreneurs. Risk Finance has become less and less available. Most of the cash goes into insurance and real estate. the old pals act in the city clubs has ruined the country with its utter corruption in the Conervative party.

I hope you are buying fistfuls of ZED at the current price, though the distributer model they have adopted is not the best way to place the product. Perhaps the directors at ZED know more about fires and chemistry than how to exploit viral potential in carefully selected market slicing.
There is a hell of a lot of money to be made with their brilliant products at this deeply discounted share price. GLA

Well kotl4, one simple guess in the short-term might be that there's something coming on the paint side. This is a decent-sized £value for a preliminary order and it includes all 3 extinguisher sizes, so it seems reasonable that this new distributor is encouraging ZED about interest on the FP side as well.

Bob, for the recently arrived, as well as the hard of reading, the reason this could be so significant, is that it appears ZED is already the highest credentialed multi-fire purpose extinguisher on the market; ie., the type you can put in your office which can protect employees from much more than paper/wood fires, but now forever chemical compliance could widen their lead. As far as I know, for now anyway, the majors like Chubb do not even produce a more general purpose product like that. Their extinguishers - particularly the smaller sized in the FX500 range - are either water or foam-based. Zenova's competition then are other niche producers which don't have the UK Kitemark/European EN suite of certifications and NOW may well not be compliant with the stiffer EU regs on forever chemicals coming in 2025. And changing their extinguisher fluid formula to come inside those very tight guidelines WITHOUT significantly degrading the effectiveness against all or most fire-types is not trivial. That even goes for the majors like Chubb if they do get around to producing a more all-purpose extinguisher. I think today's RNS is a signal to from Zenova management that their competitive advantage in this area is potentially set to become more apparent in the marketplace.

I think so as well, owenski. It's a bit of technical jargon to go through, but the more 'credentialed' ZED become generally, the more distance they put with the competition, but more importantly in my view, the more likely they are to reap significant rewards if what are now norms and/or rules that are flouted even by the majors like Chubb, suddenly become mandates either from the insurance industry or, more likely, sovereign governments. This is especially likely in the area of 'forever chemicals' of course. The reference to ZED being in compliance even with 'future' limit requirements was a nod in that direction I think.

Zealots. Some uni attendors do go over board on green. Todays reach announcement is a positive when the university talks are taking place. It also takes a posible concern out of the picture.
An aside.. ecob announced by reach the completion of their first modular home. Ecob and zed are the two parts of ecozenova. If there is a future connection it would be double bubble for ecob. And a good revenue stream for zed.

I see. So Zenova are 'making things up', but the baseless assertion (that has still gone unanswered. Funny that) you pulled from your posterior that this latest test order from SU was somehow 'not real' and just a re-directing of an existing order or some such (as if that, even if it were true, would somehow undermine the main message of the RNS, which is that the replacement of SU's entire installed base of larger extinguishers is being considered if the test period is successful), is fearless truth telling and not 'making sh*t up? Got it. Meantime, so what if the company made a small error in Butler's job description? Is he not a fire expert and was he not directly involved in this decision and did he not provide a glowing quote in the RNS praising Zenova product effectiveness, you projecting troll?

Also, as for your earlier post on Zed's financials going forward, if you were really interested in researching the company, instead of appearing in your normal guise of a troll with a bookkeeping certificate, you might have noticed how much this small company has spent on R&D over the past several years to in order to bring their paints and extinguisher fluids to their current standards, which are the highest of any of the specialist fire safety product companies, certainly selling in this country and possibly Europe-wide as well, including the recent Kitemark award in the UK. That is why I believe they are just now starting to be able to capitalise on their competitive advantage AND why the major costs to running the company going forward are set to fall significantly, making the shares look particularly interesting down here.

Finally, if you did any kind of honest DD instead of whatever it is you are actually doing, you would also know that the biggest certification prizes of all - for Li ion batteries and forever chemicals - are coming as standards tests are finally decided upon by various key governments and Zenova has not been shy about putting out content clearly demonstrating how effective their 6/9 litre extinguishers are against even larger Li fires. Have you checked out the videos and testimonials on their website or been to any demos, seeing as you are so keen to present yourself as passionate about discovering the 'truth' about Zed? Because I have. I've even been to a physical demo, run by and for fire professionals as well as investors, and I've seen some of the f-ing near-magic the company's products can perform and the response of the crowd to them, and since then have also determined that its competitors - one in particular that is possibly making outright false claims of its products' effectiveness across multiple fire types - are behind Zed, and I'm confident that when the standards for Li Ion and forever chemicals are finally established, it will likely improve even further Zenova's certification advantage and act as a catalyst for the share price. Meantime, I guess you will ignore all that in favour of continuing to keep all of us up to date on any and all RNS errors pertaining to Job Titles. Your version of keeping it real I suppose.

29/4/24 RNS
“Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), the innovative fire suppression and interdiction solutions Company, is pleased to announce that it has secured a two-year contract for 200,000 litres of its FP coating with the sprayers group, Drips and Sparks Ltd, to apply Zenova FP to steel surfaces at Gracewood Construction Ltd's project sites in the UK.”

Well Drips snd Sparks Limited has until Monday to file accounts or else it will face fines and possible strike off. That was after reducing the accounting year by one day to get an extra three months to file accounts

Francois Chklar other company is now in liquidation

Francois won two cars and was described as an electrician working on a building site

If I were a cynic, which I am, I would put the odds of this contract delivering more than £3k in total as 0.00001%. It will join the numbers of other multi million ZED contract RNSs in the RNS graveyard of broken dreams.

Anybody got an explanation for this?

16 May 2023
Zenova Group PLC
("Zenova", the "Company" or the "Group")

Zenova's sub-distributor Clastrom places its first order for 40,000 FX500 aerosol extinguisher units for Germany with a retail value of £800,000

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED) is pleased to announce Clastrom (its sub-distributors in Spain and Germany) has placed a first order for the FX500 aerosol fire extinguisher for an initial 40,000 units (with a retail value of £800,000) Clastrom's first delivery of 10,000 units will be supplied by the 15th July 2023.

3rd July 2023
Zenova Group PLC
("Zenova", the "Company" or the "Group")

First 7,500 FX500 aerosol fire extinguishers shipment to Germany

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED) is pleased to announce the first shipment of 7,500 units of Zenova FX500 aerosol fire extinguishers to Clastrom, our German sub-distributor. This is the first shipment out of a total order of 40,000 units with a retail value of £ 1,200,000 from Clastrom for the Zenova FX500.

My questions…..
1) why has the retail value of 40,000 units risen from £800k to £1.2m?
2) why were only 7,500 delivered in July 23?
3) what is the net revenue to ZED for these sales, not retail value?
4) have any further deliveries been made? Given the tendency for ZED to RNS sales and then them not to happen this is important.
5) can anybody find any evidence that Clastrom actually exists? I can find no internet based trace of them or the Director Mr Kruger.

Bob - you might spend a touch of your investigative time looking at the problems at Lifesafe (LIFS), nominally a 'competitor' of Zed's but actually a company which hasn't managed to expand its product line beyond its one extinguisher product which itself has clearly not achieved the certification success that Zed's spent so much time nailing down. As a result, the 2 companies' fortunes seem to be diverging as LIFS, despite its bigger size, had to do a much smaller raise today than ZED's recent fundraise but at as big a discount. I started a board for LIFS in order to try and initiate a conversation with shareholders there to try and see why anyone would own it rather than ZED, but got no bites yet.....

Zed. 10th on the leader board.
Quoting prices is a tad silly. Why!! Because the contract just released is not priced in. Then there is the contract. Companies are now comming to zed because they fit the current regulations. Fire extinguisher orders from germany are overdue. Zeds biggest european market. India will require stock. Latin america look to be the biggest market. Their first order us expected to be over 100k. another distributer in america is required. And for other parts of the globe as the romanian trial looks sucessfull.
Ecozenova. Latin america. Are tied up with ecobuild. Its zenova and ecobuild as customers.
So.!! Try to judge a share price from that is fruitless.
Very soon it may be difficult to buy in bulk.
