bridge plug,

after the window is cut in the casing for the sidetrack operation, the plug is put in and then the wellbore below the window is cemented at a pre-determined level above the plug. Two or three days curing of the cement and then the driling operations will continue, which will be the actual 100m sidetrack drilling. Next week, hopefully a drilling update.

bridge plug. A downhole tool that is located and set to isolate the lower part of the wellbore. Bridge plugs may be permanent or retrievable, enabling the lower wellbore to be permanently sealed from production or temporarily isolated from a treatment conducted on an upper zone.

sea7: I took the brownish colour to be rust but I am no driler so you are probably right and it is pipe that has come out of the hole - However if it has come out should there not be traces of crude on the surfaces or dripping from the ends - Again need a hands on driller to advise us.

tks pug, yep they do not look very dirty!! Perhaps they stopped briefly, let the guys who were actually working at the time move out of the picture, let the clean guys in for the shot and then the others got back to work, after watching the photo shoot.

Looks like a very well staged picture (imo) pristine clean clothing - looks as though they have just changed for the picture - however using their regular gloves so makes the change of clothing even more evident - also very self conscious expressions on their faces - apart from that all looks to be going well - but a lot of pipe still to be used - maybe our resident oily expert ZENGAS could give us a guess as to how many feet of pipe is stacked up ready to go down the hole?

Very true, there is virtually no unbiased "research reports" anywhere, they all have an angle, either they are paid for directly by the subject company, or a broker note that is written in house with the purpose of generating trading income for that broker from its own clients.

Of the two I prefer broker notes because at least they are accountable to their own clients if they get it wrong. I know of one such example where well heeled clients were lost as a result of some bad calls!

The subject company supplies the information at the ned of the day, so it's always going to be positive.

The above is a general comment, not referring to any company in particular, it's across the board IMO.

Some posters appear to be getting paranoid about research notes or out of date accounts, at the end of the day most are are 'paid for' so get their information from the company, ie speaking to the CEO/FO, the ordinary pi get to watch podcast and other showcase video's, along with official rns's.

But until the company starts to deliver, its ALL talk and bluster..

Andy;> Fair comment - It is very difficult for a user of these boards to ascertain whether many of the posts are "false news" of the pump and dump or burn and buy variety - I fully support your point that all promotional posters should be transparent - It is however difficult at times to differentiate between genuine independent opinions (up or down) and ramping or paid pushers/bloggers.

When challenged yes he does, but I think he should add it to his posts if he is posting links to Align articles, for transparency.

I think that's fair enough, and would ask the same from anyone else posting links to articles from their company when they are being compensated for their work by the subject company, in whatever form that compensation is given.

Align are not the only promotional company posting on these boards, they should all be transparent IMO.

sea7. When you check the schedule of 14th November 2016 you will find he is Align - He holds (according to the schedule) 25,600 shares of the 26,000 issued.

While the reseach states that Align is a trading name of Keith Bayley Rogers the relationship between them and Align and or Align Research Ltd does not appear to be clear. Although it would appear from the Align web site that Align Research Ltd is the publisher. What is clear is that it is sponsered reseach.

yep I know he is a director and also co founder of the business.

He openly admits to being part of align and gives his email address on other BB's.
