Sooty, I agree that movement on the port is key. (and I'm sure it will come, although it might take some time of course)
But, cold pelletisation is the wildcard, and something we have very little knowledge about. We know nothing about its technical feasibility (or added cost per tonne for that matter). It is to the best of my knowledge not used anywhere else in the world. This longshot and the EPP distraction are the parts that make very little sense to me.
On the other hand, the good parts are the supposed initial high FE purity/concentration, the vast proven and probable reserves, the land allocation and expropriation agreed by the state, and the strong probability that sooner or later RoC will have to get the SEZ off the ground (especially to woo the IMF).
With that slow but positive evolution and now the permits in place (Mining and Environmental etc) the risk-reward balance should be tilting in favour for large companies that can throw a couple of billion USD at the project. Judging by the share price we're not quite there yet but I hope that slowly we're getting closer.
I'm waiting as patiently as I can, perhaps it's a question of going away for a few months and look at it again in the autumn? (My curiosity will of course get the better of me, but hey)

Cheers GTA. Yes some action on the new port would be a big boost to the share price I'm not quite sure what the EPP is all about. According to Andrew Trahar this cold pelletisation process if it works would make a big difference to the value as against the conventional process. I thought all this latest "early production process" was a precursor to a bid or funding from a third party

nothing fake on our thread and open to all
==================================

Comment from Pete Barnes. You have posted loads of fake news from Twitter over the past six months. You were caught out Barnes. What you want is your own little echo chamber. A chat board shouldn't work like that.

Anyway I have spoken to Andrew Trahar this morning. I prefer news that I know is straight from the horses mouth.

o US$1.53m budget approved for 2018, which amount is funded 50% by Glencore and 50% by ZIOC

o Budget allows for funding study work on the EPP project including specific product test work on the pellet feed and pelletisation products and scoping of the EPP project's viability and economics

o US$3.8m cash on hand at ZIOC as at 28 February 2018

Anyone tried calling AT to see when the update is expected? I found him quite accommodating the last time I called him.

Nice one Sooty. Didn't realise he was only allowing positive comments. Correct you may as well have an echo chamber. These could do with getting a move on. Almost halfway through the second quarter. Still no update. Are they going to leave it till the end of June? Let's hope not
