Drip selling this morning, just before trading update is madness in my eyes but a profit is a profit if that way inclined

So after a. Opulent of days consolidation what will next week bring ? As each day goes by the probability increases of the RNS dropping.Gone are days of predictability with YU as trading update dropping out of the blue these days as each time there is a fundamental shift they have to RNS, 3 times last year they smashed broker forecasts on every metric Cash, turnover, profit, Ebitda, overheads lower than expected.I personally think the Jan trading update will also beat forecasts On all metrics

Listen to the VOX interview dated 29th Nov EBITDA is mentioned a lot and if I remember rightly H2 was significantly ahead of H1 can't remember the figures but I think h2 was 2.9%

Sparky333,They anticipate results to 'significantly exceed' for H2. Any thoughts on what 2022 full year EBITDA might look like? Any multiples to current marketcap will of course reflect that.Cash

Good question. It would be great to have a BP summary of the SCSW article

I (hopefully) expect MC of 200m this year and heading to 500m end 25.

PS: small holder from 2019.

Welcome, Some might say toppy, but if you look at the numbers it is way below toppy. Need 2022 numbers formally out because our PE will drop like a brick again and cash will probably be higher than the £16m mentioned.Never mind possible dividend and target of doubling turnover yet again to £500m the number go insane at that level of turnover. If the market was forward looking over £10 for 2023 is still cheap in my eyes.

You describe the essence of a market. The price is set at a place where both buyer and seller are happy.

Let me get that right, can sell 25k for 550? Now that tells me we have a buyer willing to pay around that figure ?

Here is one to chew over. Can sell 10000 @548 or 25000 at @550.

Interesting one, personally I do not think the real pressures on homes has hit home yet. From a personal perspective I am seeing my food bill soar, energy through the roof as well as luxuries like internet, sky TV etc.Never mind increased mortgage costs for a lot of people which have seen levels rapidly rise and further to go yet.Yet my salary I got a 3% pay rise so I reckon at least a 10% to 15% decrease in my disposable income So do I see green shoots yes as inflation is falling, but not for another 12 months in people's spending power and I expect a lot of profit warnings in the retail sector. Waiting for ASC and BOO to report Xmas sales

Green shoots of recovery for retail sector perhaps how do you see it Sparky333. Next PLC reports Outlook for Cost Price InflationWe now expect the cost price inflation on like-for-like goods to peak at around 8% in the Spring Summer season. However, we expect inflation to be no more than 6% in the second half. This Autumn Winter figure is only an estimate at this stage, as we are still negotiating prices; but it does appear that cost pressures are now easing through a combination of reducing freight costs and lower factory gate (dollar) prices.Factory gate prices for the second half are benefiting from: -- The decline in the price of key commodities, for example, cotton and polyester. -- Increasing factory capacities resulting from a slowdown in global demand. (Even if consumers maintain their cash spending, inflation in selling prices will reduce the amount of units they buy, thus reducing factory production.) -- New sources of supply. -- The devaluation of some local currencies against the dollar.

I personally do not understand the world of MMs on stocks like YU group. I alway think it is supply and demand but sometimes you look at it and think how the hell did that go up or down that day when you look at the tradesTake this morning the 5k looks like a sell but looking at the timings it must be a buy at 555p

Agree Sparky likely to see some sort of rns soon on possible holdings, but with regards to mm's playing games i consider that nonsense. Also lets not forget that some 25k trades can be from pi's who bought sub 1 pound!

Yep, they have tried this a couple of times now, not sure how the logic works to be honest, bit of a black art understanding it if I am frank.I found yesterday odd but a lot is going on in the background IMHO with people who work stuff through over days and weeks rather than one trading day.I do feel a holding RNS will pop out at some point.
