Also, going to eg France, you have to arrive with a negative PCR test. HMG are not going to pay for that.

You have to buy test to release to accelerate release from quarantine.

Maybe because LFT’s aren’t accurate? Or because you can’t use a government PCR test for travel / holidays?

£65 seems expensive. Why not use use the Government's free anti gen test kit which is free?

US contract delay,...is it?? Never knew there was a time set on it other than BMD?

Dan called this well!Another buying opp and disappointing show. US contract delay is systemic to my collective experience whereby we get back to where we started - whenever it does arrive! Timeframes are very elastic and notoriously unreliable and late.Welcome to the club Dan.

LolYes, another week and month passes by while the latest delivery elastic has been stretched taunt. At least it should arrive in May one hopes!

catch007, yes Ygen wouldn't need a very big % of that £22Bn to be absolutely snowed under. I suppose if they were to do 10k+ tests a day, then they could be close to £100m rev a year for that alone.
They have obviously outsourced the overspill in capacity, but even so, big numbers.

Apad: The HSBC selling info is interesting thank you. Looks like you are hoovering up their sales with your buys. Good luck to you (and us of course).

I still view this as a long term hold and have been adding now and again. Hjb1 and I share a view on the framework agreement, whilst the major players will get the bulk of the tender awards even a small fraction of the total 4 lot value 0.5% would still be hugely material to YGEN. I suspect they have priced low to win volume hence been included in all lots....we will see as call off contracts are announced. YGEN are in it so may win it in time!

My pleasure, IkeaDave.

There is clearly a degree of risk, but my judgement is that the negative side is more likely to be one of delay. Still, I have been wrong before.

IkeaDave.

"Looks like most of the notifiable holders have been adding to positions recently, HSBC the only sizable seller of note and with banks its difficult to tell exactly what the motivation could be. It could be private clients re-positioning or the bank hedging."
"It certainly isn’t us, we have been adding so most of our clients are long.
I just checked to see what is being bid for out there at the moment and it’s reasonably well bid =- Berenberg look like the biggest buyers."

That's all I have.
