22/10/2008 14:33 | Wow, 500,000 shares traded | opportunity
17/10/2008 11:07 | IMO in times of uncertainty more accurate information on future direction is even more valuable than before. These economic conditions are actually beneficial to Yougov as clients wish to buy more insight into future directions. These guys offer great value and apparantly excellent accuracy | opportunity
16/10/2008 17:38 | Anybody any idea why this stock has gone up from 50 to 70 and defied the market other than it is cheap and directors been buying? | vardens
13/10/2008 10:00 | With all this uncertainty in the world, yougov must be the best positioned company to capitalise on it given their much publicised skill of being the most accurate. They must be printing money as quick as the Government :) | opportunity
26/9/2008 17:01 | Interesting reference to yougov by wall st jrnl today see penultimate paragraph Huge political swing today in the States, so should be good for companies like yougov canvassing potential outcomes. | opportunity
24/9/2008 08:00 | watch for a bounce today | pictureframe
23/9/2008 16:24 | still in auction? | pictureframe
23/9/2008 16:07 | at 61p way overdone - bought my first lot | pictureframe
15/9/2008 23:17 | At least in these uncertain times there should be even more demand for accurate, timely information to help beat the ill winds. This stock could actually be a safehaven as clients clamber to grab more information about customers. Time will tell | opportunity
09/9/2008 14:51 | Have you asked many people that question?? ;) | stegrego
09/9/2008 14:50 | not really. there isn't much money in opinion polling | markie7
09/9/2008 14:29 | Has any one tried Googling the main market research brands - both websites & news? Google News references Yougov - 1,200 "ac nielsen" - 328 "ipsos mori" - 325 "millward brown" - 109 Google web references "ac nielsen" - 455,000 Yougov - 374,000 "millward brown" - 319,000 "ipsos mori" - 110,000 I have excluded research now as Google results include many results that are not related to research now, the market research company. Although I would estimate that the company trails the pack. If these results are anything to go by the brand value of yougov alone should be significant as yougov is becoming a household name. Perhaps they should do a brand index report on themselves! For such a young company they appear to be quoted weekly in the professional marketing journals and at least once a week by the national newspapers. Like WPP, when there are elections this company should make loads of money. We have elections in both the USA and UK looming up :) | opportunity
27/8/2008 11:33 | a fund had to clear a position and it seems that might of been cleared, hence all the volume recently, pretty sure you will see the price start to move north as it has been the last few days!! | serrot
21/8/2008 20:18 | yes. especially as two directors sold a load of shares to re-invest the proceeds into the fund. then the fund doesn't happen. have they bought the shares back? No. | markie7
21/8/2008 18:11 | That decision it half made (and has subsequently chickened out of), to adventurously branch out into the formation of a hedge fund, will likely have frightened a few. It certainly sounded iffy to me. | m.t.glass
21/8/2008 16:55 | well, there was a pretty clear warning 10 days ago or so - no need for any more comment I don't think. remember this was on a huge P/E. not any more though, admittedly. | markie7
21/8/2008 16:43 | And so far not even an after-hours announcement.. | m.t.glass
21/8/2008 16:29 | 500,000 dumped | pictureframe |
