16/9/2009 16:08 | Guys I say it again - get into AVCT (Avacta) 15,000,000 shares bought by in investor - obviously good news coming!! | battyman2
16/9/2009 16:06 | repost of damankos post about the mine. Why strategically important between china and Taiwan. i thinks thats it for the day. mms only offering 10k online. gl. Ningde is the producer of many nonmetallic mineral resources, such as granite, diorite and basalt. The confirmed volume of granite reserves extends to 1,140 million cubic meters, while estimated amount of deposits undiscovered stands at several thousand million cubic meters. The mining area for basalt in Bailin, Fuding, known as Fuding Black, covers 0.21 square kilometers with a total deposit of up to 50 million cubic meters. Secondary Ningde's rich hydropower resources give it a headstart in metallurgical industries. Products such as magnesium, zirconium oxide, aluminum, high-purity silicon carbide, and a series of other silicon products from plants in the prefecture enjoy high reputation and are exempted from examination when exported to Japan. Advances in metallurgical technology also aids the shipbuilding industry, a traditional trade in Ningde. In recent years, local shipyards have been capable of constructing 10,000-ton steamships. | tomboyb
16/9/2009 15:29 | fair point damanko. ihavenoclue i think william was probably talking about tara7 CHWI. this reminds me a little of CAPE. very limited free float and then just shot up. | tomboyb
16/9/2009 15:11 | A small point - with the recent activity in Yinggao, the market cap is (as we sit here right now), as follows: Bid price 19.78 million Mid price 25.725 million Offer price 31.662 million If there is no fallback /retrenchment, an AIM stock such as this will, with this scale of valuation, attract some attention from AIM funds, as well as AIM VCT's. Though the free float may be small, some of these collectives may be obliged to buy, or at the least do some proper research in the company, in which case more comments / analyses should be available to the likes of us. On the subject of ramping, anyone who cares can look at the old ARKO thread, you'll find that a few of us (like moormoney for example) have been holders for several years. Not that is has done us any good .......... Ho Hum. Though, I think - we probably have a sense of humour, which is why we didn't sell, it just didn't seem worth the bother. If anybody feels this is a ramping thread, might I suggest they just go away, and stop wasting their own time posting witless, and usually one line comments. Up to them, of course........ | damanko
