01/10/2009 13:14 | From what I can see/research, the volume in Yinggao Holdings shares has been 430 thousand in the past two weeks. A tiny drop in whatever ocean, we will agree. From the recent RNS, which stated that the main man/head honcho/ex prisoner/ fraudster - whatever - holds 1,821,776,422 shares, representing 92.06% of YGH, it seems that the free float is in the region of 157 million shares. Not a lot. But, as some posters have noted, any decent news on trading and/or cashflow - if positive, will move this share upwards in a big way. Have to say that on the dearth of volume in terms of shares traded (whether bought or sold), seems to me that market makers are not really sure which way this share price is heading, and the spread is huge. Any buyer, of whatever volume, would need to be extremely positive about Yinggao's prospects to dip in at this level, with this spread. I speak as a holder, and of course would like to see the share price move north, but the company does itself little favours, in terms of positive news releases. Actually - in terms of any news announcements, other than those required by the regulatory authorities. | damanko
01/10/2009 12:56 | It's difficult to work this one out--no movement for years now there's a good turn around but we can't buy! at least it's up on someone getting some. | moormoney
01/10/2009 12:26 | It doesn't look to me like they are letting anyone buy online so pretty obvious they don't want anyone mopping up shares below 1p. | camy
01/10/2009 12:17 | a bounce at last | andrbea
30/9/2009 15:39 | surely if the co. want it's share price to do well it should persuade the main holder to release more shares to the market. | moormoney
30/9/2009 08:33 | no much free float and very tightly held. | tomboyb
30/9/2009 08:32 | that's some tightly held stock (92%) any good news would rocket it north (in effect, little or no free float) nia dyor | andrbea
30/9/2009 08:30 | Hold onto your hats, this could make all the difference, from this morning's RNS................. Yinggao Holdings plc ("Yinggao" or "the Company") Holding in Company The Directors of Yinggao Holdings plc (AIM: YGH.L) wish to announce that, following the discovery of an earlier administrative error, Keen Lloyd Holdings Limited ("KLH") is interested in 1,821,776,422 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each, not 1,851,776,422 shares as previously notified. This represents approximately 92.06 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. | damanko
27/9/2009 14:59 | The share price seems to have settled now on the improved results but buys still restricted by the small 7% of shares traded. Does this mean the share price will fly as the co. continues to grow profits and china boom continues or will it be very difficult to buy and sell such a small market? It seems to me the co. should persuade it's main holder to release some of his shares to make a more liquid market. anyone with views on this? | moormoney
