Looks like the small buys will end up covering the sell - MM's taking it back up.

Why the fall from 2p ??

No doubt good for business:

China's Economy Expands 8.9%, Increasing Pressure for an End to Stimulus China's economy expanded at the fastest pace in a year as stimulus spending and record lending growth helped the nation lead the world out of recession.

You are, sadly, correct. Though admitting this to be the case - makes me feel a tad on the elderly side. I spent several years working abroad, in various parts of the Middle East and Africa (including Damanko in Ghana....) - and few things gave greater pleasure in some remote place in the middle of BF Nowhere -than to receive an envelope with my name on it.

I fly to Spain next Thursday for a week, and will endeavour to stay away from computahs. With this particular share, I have a feeling they will either halve, or quadruple in value while I'm away. If I had to bet which way they'll move, unfortunately I know which I would put money on......

damanko ... writing "etiquette" is a dying art form which has all but vanished in e-mail form.

I would not read too much into it if I were you.

W-J, fair point. However my concern was not the lack of significant content (which is pretty much always the case for PI's, as you note) - more the lack of name / signature.

A further email to the company elicited some interesting information, as well as being sent by a named individual, who is an officer of the company.

I shall go on my cricket trip to Alicante in a much better frame of mind.......

Damanko what is it you think they would say, an offer has been made for the co circa £2 zillion.

Below is the entire text of an email reply received today, after my informal enquiry to Yinggao Holdings, regarding the recent share price rise, as well - of course - as matters regarding current trading. I have to say, receiving an unsigned email like this gives me no confidence in the company.

Obviously, I did not expect any real surprises, or what we might call "Price sensitive" information. However, I did expect that, should YGH reply to my email, an officer of the company would put their name to the missive.

I'm minded right now to sell my entire holding, which probably equates to roughly a tenth of a billion of a percent ........ however, I'll sleep on it.

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your continuing interest in the company. We are unable to respond to specific enquiries about underlying trading. The Company is, however, mindful of its obligations under the Aim rules of the London Stock Exchange to announce any change in the financial circumstances of the Company.

Future action will depend on whether those buyers that were around mid september return to mop up todays small parcel of sells.

No I'm a brave woman! I'd written this off but did chuck a spare few quid at it now and again to try to average down as I always thought if they could turn this around they're in a massive growth area. Shipping-terminals -river barges etc so as Chinese economy and trade grows--YGH should do very well. I bought pxs and chwi recently at very low sps and took a remarkable profit quite quickly leaving some for free. I decided then to build my holding here to around 250000 with any spare from deals. I'm up to 160000 now from my original 50000----if this share price continues to do well I can get my original back with good profits--leaving some for free. That's the plan anyway. Talking of misery I'm just enduring the misery of recording last years losses---besides my losses on SEO, BB, CFE, PET, IVE ,EEL, TMAN--make this one seem very insignificant!!
This year is looking much better thanks to gkp pci and pxs--so my glass is definitely back on half full! Good luck to you.

And this the latest trade info from the LSE site: (All 07/10 - today)

14:28:21 1.75 50,000 875.00 O
12:40:58 2.00 50,000 1,000.00 O
09:12:20 2.25 1,500 33.75 O

Though the LSE site is not always the quickest, in terms of reporting. Appears that the larger volumes are being traded on PLUS. Am slightly wary of whether the trades there are actually buys or sells though, the pricing looks somewhat dodgy to me, given the large spread we should be seeing between the two.

moormoney, you're a brave fellow (if you're a man.....). After the (several) years of misery we've endured with this little dog - I'm impressed (I think) that you've put your hand back in your pocket. There can be no doubt that you're a glass half full type.
