Only the US$ is doing well today. I can understand it being a safe haven in troubled times. The gold price is taking a pounding, copper is taking a real pounding and the crude oil price is being slaughtered!
The trouble with gold is it doesn't pay any interest (cryptos are being hammered for the same reason) unlike US treasuries. Albeit that interest rate doesn't compensate for inflation.
It looks like gold will retest last year's low. Only when the US Fed changes tack and reduces interest rates (instead of raising them) to fend off a major recession will the gold price take off again and the US$ fall. That could happen before the end of 2022, though we could have to wait until 2023.

A lot of hindsight wisdom here. We have bargain prices but with my large holding I`ll wait for Colin`s skills to prove themselves. He will I am sure earn that pint.

Bargain prices here. The potential of Bushranger is unaffected by these results.

Seems like I made the right move selling out at 7p a while back as now down 50%. The rest of the market isn't looking much better at the moment so will sit back and wait for St Leger day.
