23/6/2022 18:58 | Copper is no more plentiful than it was last year. And a the future requires a lot of it. We may have had peak oil, and energy in the future is going to manifest as electricity. However this is generated. Copper is essential to the transportation, locally and long distance, and often in the generation, of that energy. A mine takes years to commission. and that commission date will be lie in an economic and political landscape that we can't begin to predict as of today. My point is that today's short term movements in the market price of copper have no bearing on the purchase of a future mining resource. Anyone suggesting otherwise is demonstrating a rather striking naivity. | zero matrix
23/6/2022 17:09 | Almost unbelievably copper futures are currently down over 5% on the day. | papillon
23/6/2022 16:05 | The mid price started the day at 4.65 and dropped to 4.625. All trades were below the lower of those two mid prices. | zero matrix
23/6/2022 15:45 | Some of them are buys - anything below the mid-point is posted as a sell. Based on the activity, the 4.5x trades are sells and the 4.6x trades are buys. | steve4077
23/6/2022 15:33 | I've put the Babycham back in the cupboard under the stairs. What an odd day. Just 18 trades, all classed as sells, totalling 580,000 or so in volume, and the bid price remained all day at 4.5p. Surely there will be a late posted trade or two to balance things up> | zero matrix
23/6/2022 15:10 | I wonder what % of posts on this board are from people who actually own the stock :) LSE and Telegram are active and better moderated if anyone tires of the noise to signal ratio. | steve4077
23/6/2022 14:50 | I've copied the following post from the GPM bb. It makes a lot of sense to me. King_Baller 23 Jun '22 - 15:25 - 1405 of 1406 0 0 0 Commodities are breaking down. USD wrecking ball in action. The funny thing is we’re likely in a global recession right now, but the Fed will have to wait for backwards looking inflation data to moderate before stopping rate hikes. Meaning we’re heading for a deep global recession. Gold will front run soon it IMO. | papillon |
