26/5/2023 19:57 | Hi paps, I post as howezap on lse, you’re probably right! I do spend too much time policing the board. But doing so, I will ‘always’ offer reasoning behind any objective views that I post and always share my research and answer any questions I can honestly. But will always admit too when I have been wrong when trying to second guess what the company are trying to do. Think I have a really good understanding now of what I have bought into and am confident of the ability the company has under its current strategy to grow now there is sustainability. | guyshelby
26/5/2023 18:09 | Howezap was saying the same when the XTR share price was 7p around a year ago. He could be right, but at the moment it's just wishful thinking. He ramps XTR non stop. PS Seeing you're so optimistic, Twinkle3, enlighten us with some of your past investment successes. TIA | papillon
25/5/2023 17:35 | I've seen it reported, chris cat, that 80% of those that invest in shares lose money. I suspect it's an even higher figure for those who gamble on AIM & Standard listed shares. Unfortunately my successes over the last 25 years have been outnumbered by my losers, which is why I've resorted to charts. A monthly savings scheme linked to a FTSE100 tracker would have been far more profitable, albeit far more boring. Boredom pays dividends! 🤣 | papillon
25/5/2023 15:48 | Excellent post, ODR's. Unfortunately most AIM and Standard listed companies turn out to be fantasies. Obviously Colin Bird has had his successes. KIW (Kiwara) back in 2009 comes to mind. CB made around $40 million out of that when KIW was bought for circa $250 million. He was also executive Chair of JLP until he recently retired. PS Twinkle3 thinks he's some kind of comedian. There's definitely something funny going on inside his head! | papillon
25/5/2023 15:34 | "AIM = Pain" Won't be any comfort Chris but you are far from alone. I recall someone published the AIM Company failure rate % a long time ago, and it was in the high 90's I've limited myself just 2 companies now. Will NEVER exceed that going forward. | onedayrodders
25/5/2023 15:17 | Guy, Noted on the AIM values, apart from one pure luck play in early/mid naughties, AIM has brought me nothing but pain. As with my other AIM shares I plan to sit and hold here and let it play out. Promised myself I will never buy another AIM share as long as my A@@e points South and I will stick to it. There are undoubtably some gems and most AIM CO's are high risk but there are also many many lifestyle companies where BOD's who deliver very little continue to raise money to fund their lifestyles and keep themselves in a job. I guess we will find out what this one is in the fullness of time. | chris cat
25/5/2023 14:06 | Therich…. Formerly pops currently Kwadoku on lse. Lost a lot of money we understand through his own poor investment decisions with complete lack of understanding of what he was buying into when he came on the scenes a few years ago. Unfortunately is now very bitter. Incidentally his share price stats do not take into account any dilutive effect from fundraises over that time and the value that those acquisitions may have on the market capitalisation of those Companies. There is clearly a disconnect in real company values and current share prices across most sectors with AIM listings alone having seen £45b wiped off values in just first half of ‘22. It is certainly not just the Colin bird companies of all the hundreds of junior explo miners on just AIM that have seen rerating in that time. | guyshelby
25/5/2023 13:24 | Cheers Paps, plenty of keyboard warriors out there but it's hard to argue when the facts are correct. | chris cat
25/5/2023 12:33 | Therichgetricher's starting prices are correct, chris cat, for the 3 companies he has mentioned. Abysmal share price performance! I see Therichgetricher only joined advfn today. He's also posted on BZT. It looks like he might be sparty1. | papillon
25/5/2023 11:05 | Thanks therichgetricher, Pretty dismal performances, Assuming your starting price are correct then those share price performances are very damming. | chris cat
25/5/2023 11:02 | Guys, if you are honest, XTR is not going anywhere, like most other Bird businesses. I think the rampers here are people who have taken huge losses and [incorrectly] feel that ramping will somwehow change things. There just arent enough people who use this board to make any difference to the overall sentiment- which is overwhelmingly negative and rightfully wary of Bird. I dont think a lot of people realise just what a small % of PIs in XTR will be on ADVFN Colin Bird’s AIM record (as of mid May 23): Time he became CEO of BZT- share price 0.5….now 0.04 >90% fall Time he became CEO of XTR- share price 10...now 1.8 >80% fall Time he became CEO of Galileo 7.38...now 1.2 >75% fall | therichgetricher

24/5/2023 16:30 | 3 year Copper price log chart. It's way off it's $5 per lb high. Yet some at the time were predicting an even higher price in 2023 due to Copper being the main beneficiary of the green energy revolution (electric cars etc). It looks like the dramatic recent fall in the Copper price is due to fears of a serious upcoming recession. | papillon
24/5/2023 14:42 | I'm not in charge of the platform Twinkle, happy to see your information and won't hold the rant postings against you....can't speak for others though. | chris cat
23/5/2023 14:07 | Thanks Twinkle lets hope you are right, Must admit I have lost the faith a bit. Felt like I was a genius when it almost doubled shortly after I bought in and the indicated 2mt being confirmed and offered to AA by May 22.....and here we are now. | chris cat
23/5/2023 10:25 | Share price near to all time low No volume I would imagine most Share holders like me sitting on massive losses and all the targets and timelines from Colin not met Says It all | oliversydney
23/5/2023 09:59 | No posts for a couple of months - any news or expectations of news please anyone? | dougdig
23/5/2023 09:10 | Thanks Twinkle, If I'm honest I bought in here as a complete punt without much research and got seduced by the potential AA buyback and Colin's "It's big Zac, really big and we haven't finished yet". I totally ignored the African assets. Note to self, understand more about where you stick your money. | chris cat |
