30/6/2021 09:33 | "And he is maybe taking £150-200k annually (tax free) from them". Wow, is that all! That is a tiny salary, seems like good value to me. Your boss probably earns more than that, lol:) | the count of monte_cristo
30/6/2021 09:32 | copperz, do you think Bushranger can just be sold in a few weeks? Do you have any idea, at all on how long it takes to develop a resource? It's not done in a month:)) You have obviously lost some money in some stocks and not bear a petty grudge against CB, let it go. Anyone who was holding resource stocks during 2015-2019 had similar hits, it was a terrible time for exploration stocks globally, and now the world is paying the price because of this. Copper projects are declining in grade and becoming harder and harder to find, and more expensive. | the count of monte_cristo
30/6/2021 09:31 | Count of Monte Carlo, thats what he wants you to think. He has several companies, draws a 'moderate' salary from each of them- which ends up being a generous salary in tax-free UAE. Meanwhile, he is so thinly spread that the companies just go sideways. Some experienced posted posted on the Galileo BB somewhile back, he has been following CB companies for a few years and says this typical pattern of left or right, never forward, is typical for his companies. You should scroll back to previous discussions 1-2 years back just to get a sense of de ja vu. But dont take my word for it, look at the SPs for Colin Birds 3 main AIM companies. ALL of them down from when he took over. And he is maybe taking £150-200k annually (tax free) from them. Not including all the other perks and directorships fees | copperz
30/6/2021 09:27 | Diddymen, just messing with you:)) It does look like it has bottomed out, once they start phase two of the drilling news flow will be think and fast. Very busy in Australia at the moment across all exploration work, labs, drill crews, etc. | the count of monte_cristo
30/6/2021 09:26 | CB has a long and well documented history of making grand ambitious statements that dont materialise. Its a fine line between making such statements and market manipulation. ECR sucked many investors while issuing a huge placing, with their CEO (funnily enough, also'CB') making a lot of rampy statements about a sale/takeover. Over 6 months later, they havent even produced any decent assays. Like XTR, its share price is less than half of its recent-ish peak. AIM is poorly regulated. I believe if a FTSE 100 CEO was to make such statements about their company, they would be, rightly, punished. AIM is the gift that keeps on giving as far as feeding directors luxury lifestyles. Some companies are just poorly managed, some are obviously not going anywhere and are just a means to an end. | copperz
30/6/2021 09:25 | copperz, give it a rest mate. We get a lot of value for money from CB, I have no issue with his salary and think it is cheap. If you have zero idea about the timescales on proving up a mineral resources then move on. SOLG discovered Cascabel in 2011, ten years ago, they are no more advanced at developing an actual mine than we are and it is actually significantly more likely that Bushranger will be in production years before Cascabel ever will be. | the count of monte_cristo
30/6/2021 09:13 | Haha CMC not binary, it is my language and may or may not be a technical term. Equilibrium in the sense that the selling and buying are offsetting each other with little price movement - perhaps some marginal buying. I was just interested in the fact that a similar equilibrium of non-posting was being reflected on the bb. No great surprises because before too long the picture will emerge of the substance or otherwise of CB's Bushranger claims. | the diddymen
30/6/2021 09:12 | 1) How much did Colin Bird draw as a salary from the latest company accounts? 2) Also, what did he actually say about a possible sale of Bushranger to a bigger company. Anyone have the relevant link to the article/interview/RN 3) This is summer in UAE so it becomes unbearably hot, with the cities winding down to some extent, not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing in terms of Colin Bird doing work | copperz
30/6/2021 07:42 | what's an equilibrium point? :)) Sounds intelligent, is it "binary" lol. | the count of monte_cristo
30/6/2021 07:29 | Silence on the BB reflects the equilibrium point of the share? | the diddymen
28/6/2021 17:17 | Down again nothing happening here for months . Still selling going on . | goforgold1
28/6/2021 11:39 | End of year accounts out. No nasty surprises. Potential for the next year is massive. Current share price is ridiculous. | backtothesoil
28/6/2021 08:54 | It looks like 3.40 was the bottom last week but seems illogical to sell at this stage and just patience required so will put them away and hope to reach my breakeven and even show a profit at some future time Mining shares on AIM not for widows or orphans ! | oliversydney
27/6/2021 09:58 | Copper is towards the end of the report. | denjon
25/6/2021 16:15 | People sell for all kinds of reasons many of them totally unrelated to their view of the prospects of a stock. Could be personal reasons, margin call or plain boredom. Nothing has happened here that changes the chances of a possible world class copper discovery. Ignore the noise and focus on the story. | bernymadoff
25/6/2021 13:13 | Given everything that is happening in the next few weeks and the associated new flow, it seems like a very odd time to be selling. If you don't have patience, then mining exploration companies are probably bad stocks for your investments in the first place. | steve4077
25/6/2021 12:12 | indeed Steve .. threads everywhere littered with the "Cad Sunts" and their pathetic little agendas. | onedayrodders
25/6/2021 12:02 | Sorry, patience wearing thin here as news only seems to send this deeper into the doldrums so have 1/2 my holding. Yes as someone pointed out, a lot of miners down at the moe, even good money making stocks are going against the grain as am well down even on my good stocks. | cinoib
25/6/2021 10:23 | Chesty, you can make your money back. Just need to note your lesson, then get ready to sell when CB steps up the ramping- which I can assure you, is coming very soon. After this ramping attempt failed, he will come with a really big carrot soon. You just need to remember who he is, how bad his record in, and sell out when the ramping inflates the share price | copperz
25/6/2021 10:18 | MEANREVERTER, I think you are overtly optimistic. And this is how CB sucks you in. Giving you the impression that he is working tiredly as the CEO of several companies operating across several countries. Its just not feasible. There are very simple tell tale signs. The twitter account for Bezant that hasnt been active for 2 years (why not just delete it if not active), the incorrect company set up as spotted by someone looking at Companies House registry. These indicate someone who is not taking care of the lawn- but is still drawing a salary as a groundskeeper. How much are these bona fide companies with real objectives? how much are these a means to the end? the end being living a nice expat lifestyle in UAE for the rest of your advanced life. Oh, looks like someone on LSE has reported him the London Stock Exchange...watch this space! | copperz
25/6/2021 06:10 | Looks to me that Colin Bird is using the open pit scenario to trigger the Anglo American buyout ASAP, Bird said as much in his last podcast. The level of seemingly unjustified bashing going suggests certain entities are building material positions ahead of imminent news from shares taken by weak holders. | silverspoon2009
25/6/2021 00:19 | It's clearly a DOG and MUG punters got sucked in...LOL | p5tvr
24/6/2021 21:11 | Looks like sub 3p beckons in short order. Not looking good here !! | jeanesy
24/6/2021 20:08 | Divmad, I tend to agree. We will not have to wait long to find if it is a great investment or a dog. I would prefer the former! | the diddymen |
