Well the XTR share price has broken down below support. Next support level is circa 2p.
Will it drop that low? No idea, but it's possible. I haven't got a crystal ball so can't predict share prices.
Colin Bird's purchase around a month ago enabled some "savvy" holders to get out at a higher price. That was rather fortunate for those "savvy" investors!
I had around 20k of shares bought recently. A tiny investment. I sold half yesterday and the rest today. I normally stick to investment trusts and follow the charts. Buying XTR was an aberration on my part as the chart was bearish when I bought. I have had more luck on another speculative minnow, WSBN, but the chart had just turned bullish when I bought. Unfortunately these minnows leak like a sieve and this is often picked up by the charts and chart signals.

PS. I wish holders ATB. If XTR does well I might return. I could lose out, but I only had a tiny investment anyway. A punt. I'll stick to GPM & CYN.

It needs to be good news or the share price will continue to slide into the 3's unfortunately.

Been thinking about yesterday's reaction to the average grades.

Seems the fast money left knowing that this is going to take at least a good 9 months to be proved up.

But it presents an opportunity for the LTH.

Many on the sidelines now waiting to see where it settles before committing.

I'm not at all pleased with the share price but aside from the average grades it's dropped because of delays and wider market sentiment.

I'm taking a Premier League type of view on the grades. We've just started the season and the first three games have given us a win and two draws. There's 20 more games to play and if we get more wins than draws we'll be in the top 4 come end of season and earn a place at the top table alongside Anglo.

I wouldn't be writing off the season already on the basis of just three games.

I'd class a win as anything above 0.3% and a draw as anything between 0.2 -0.3%

joycey - You can ask that, it's actually a very common question asked to management across the resource sector. Companies also sometimes note their cash burn rates in company updates. It is a good question to ask and should more investors on here list their questions we could then email those questions to the company.

My notes from yesterdays interview
- CB has put together a team to specifically focus on Bushranger
- Newcrests Cadia Ridgeway mine has average grades of .26% copper and .4% gold.
- Scale of the system could be similar to Cadia. Further exploration required across the trend to locate more mineralised porphyries.
- Best copper grades in the crown of our intrusion, usually the higher grades are found more at depth. This has positive economic advantages due to the depth to extract as an open-pit.
- If an open-pit looks to be economic, it could trigger the Anglo buy back.
- Prove up a 2mt resources as fast as possible.
- Other prospects on the license areas, such as epithermal gold some copper gold porphyries.
- Exciting time over the next 6 months with a lot of news due.
- Bushranger is 200kms away from Sydney, excellent infrastructure

But in the meantime shareholders will enjoy a flow of likely positive news to propel the share price higher before any future financing, which I don't disagree with. IP results, assay results for holes 4 and 5, phase 2 drilling results including new data on Footrot, and preliminary analysis of an open plan mining scheme at Bushranger.

One question I wish Zac had asked is do they now have sufficient funding for all their activities until the end of the year. Maybe there's rules against that, probably is.

Solid video, it's going to take time to develop, as with any mining project, and some people don't like that and won't stick around to see it through. I think what happened today is people saw the grades, didn't quite understand what has been developing here and sold on those grades. The Australian investors are much more educated on grades, geology and mining and that element is somewhat lacking across the UK investors. Most people investing in mining stocks don't even know what a copper porphyry is or understand the significance of having higher grades close to surface. CB has put a good team together, I will continue to keep adding when funds permit.

Whatever the share price action, if you watch that video and don't get the warm and fuzzies, then you really shouldn't be here.

Very positive interview session. Should be a fair amount of regular updates over the next few months, as we close in on the target amount to trigger a bid by AA or another company. The share price should hopefully recover more steadily and not have such exaggerated swings.
