09/2/2006 08:53 | Why nothing happens here! Might sell this one soon, without news we'll be below IPO price in a couple of weeks. Were you involved in the Black Angel IPO ? | dhamilton
09/2/2006 08:38 | So same sentiment as the Zinc deal basically... Cornhill should really start a Message Board on their site for registered investors to share information. | din007
09/2/2006 08:31 | Din007 It's pre-IPO I can't remember the name, but if you have delt with Cornhill before give them a call. They said this expect this one to be 100% at Ipo and increase very quickly. Expected to float six months The guy I deal with is Tom . Good luck!! | dhamilton
09/2/2006 08:20 | DHamilton, Is it another IPO or Pre-IPO? 2melmel The Indonesian Zinc Pre-IPO was called Beltzing-Zinc or something. I`m hoping that we here from them soon.... | din007

08/2/2006 09:06 | Shame, Didn`t think so as the Cornhill website normally would show this on the Performance page. Many thanks DHamilton. | din007
08/2/2006 08:38 | Just rang, There are NO warrents. | dhamilton
08/2/2006 08:30 | Shavian, If you got in on the MTL deal then you got warrants for those. Just give your contact at Cornhill a call or read a few of the previous posts. | din007
08/2/2006 08:19 | As far as I know there are no warrents. | dhamilton
08/2/2006 07:23 | Shavian, Are you saying we got warrants in the Xceldiam deal? If so, can anyone confirm the terms? e.g. strick price, etc. | din007
07/2/2006 18:51 | An uptick! The wts are on the leaderboard for today I note, also having risen 0.5p. Does anyone who bought through Cornhill know about our entitlement to the warrants? | shavian
11/1/2006 09:52 | shavian - u have your news update i believe - as it happens, there is nothing in the rns other then a general everything is going to plan and we hope to find diamonds soon. still, with drilling to start very shortly on some main targets, the next few months will prove make or break time. | mdchand
10/1/2006 19:48 | Back down to below opening price.. any news anyone?? | shavian
28/12/2005 17:17 | Just called Cornhill and spoke to someone not sure who. He confirmed that we participated in the MTL deal then we got warrents. The price is 20p and has terms of 2:1. | din007
28/12/2005 14:43 | din007 Thanks for info... | trop
27/12/2005 16:12 | din007, What they try and do hold their placees in the stock to prevent a lot of selling, and a resultant drop in Sp, which could trigger another wave of selling, and so on. Some people try and stag new placings, and if the rush to exit is large enough, it will cause the price to fall, whereas if ther broker can minimise the inital sells, they can build the price on the back of that. | andy
27/12/2005 14:26 | Many thanks all for informative posts, my question is answered... Bottom line is Cornhill have to execute all trades on your behalf, with this type of account. Just a thought, any other charges for this account i.e. quarterly with E*Trade ? Sorry if sounds stupid, Cornhill is a new one on me.... once again many thanks. | trop
27/12/2005 10:40 | Hi Andy, What does "Trop" mean? Yes, I have also had the same experience with them trying to persuade me not to sell. Not sure what they would gain in preventing me selling...As they would earn more commission. But they have had some luck in picking winners. So am happy enough at the moment. I would avoid "City Equities" they are really heavy sellers. Not a good experience. | din007
26/12/2005 19:55 | trop, din007, Cornhill cannot prevent you from trading, (unless there is a lock in period) but they can try and pursuade you not to sell, as they did with my FMGL. I rang twice to sell, and the dealer asked why I wanted to sell, and then informed me "there's buyers in the market" and "news expected soon" type of comments. It was a battle of wills that I didn't like, as he twice pursuaded me to change my mind, when I really wanted to sell. The third time I simply told him I wanted to sell, to cover a tax bill, and my order was finally executed. A couple of day slater the price dopped, and has been dropping since! | andy
25/12/2005 07:53 | No, I don`t think so. When you sign-up to Cornhill they open you a Crest account with E*Trade. Your shares are held in your own name. You can log onto the E*Trade website to check performace/prices/et Trades are at 1.5% and you need to contact Conhill to execute them. I doubt that they can prevent you from transfering holdings, but charges are likely. Please if anyone knows more information please post... | din007
24/12/2005 20:46 | Help & information needed from reading former posts, do i understand correctly that Cornhills have control over selling shares that you have purchased pre IPO.? In other words you have to sell through them, genuine question tia. | trop
20/12/2005 15:11 | He's not claiming to have price sensitive information just that there is likely to be newsflow from end of Jan onwards. The news could be bad as well as good! | spiv 1 |
