well someone thinks that petra paper isnt overvalued? as the price can only ever reflect what the market thinks its worth at the time?

and is it petra? i thought there was a clause with the angolans that a compant can only own uptp 3000 sqkm's? methinks i need a little more research.

anyone know a link to the current diamond price?

its a tree shake to scare people into selling. Its a false price as the mm's know that either way these shares will either be sold at 50P or the shares will be re-rated to reflect the bid or possible future buy out. i shall be topping up as soon as funds become available. Expect a small rise 1st thing in the morning

Not heard anything. Only know that if someone is offering 50p it's because they think it's worth more. Everyone is in it to make a profit. Can't understand anyone selling at 45 now?

With lots of diamonds a rival bid is possible just for the 1 find (note the subsidary bit). Depends on what the company decides to do with the cash if it goes that way.

lol, i wish. I just noted fridays 140,000 buy and thought mnnn monday morn should look interesting.Didnt quite expect these talks, but you may see from previous postings that i , like many others, suspect that xld would be bought up once the big fish ie petra or bhp knew that there are diamonds in them there hills.

What happens now then ? is it wait and see time for the offer or hope for a rival bid ect? Does xld have the funds to go it alone and develope the deposits that they may have discovered ?
