When the US is involved, I wouldn't time the markets buddy and absolutely invest but i would keep around 60% of your powder dry presently...

Unlikely Xaar will continue to have much further weakness especially below the 150p mark unless US wider markets are in serious corrective mood but I continue to build my position here!

It’s lost 30%. As we all know buying shares is spotting value plus timing. Whilst this may turn out to be the former, it’s terrible on the latter.

If you apply stop losses as many do (including me) then this has already caused a crystallised loss.

I’m sitting on a large amount of cash. The ftse250 has come down quite a lot already, I’m waiting for that to stabilise before buying anything.

Dr. Biotech - true for sure!

Decision is to top up or not, but maybe just sit and wait.

Gets a positive mention but not included in GP3 even though it was on the buy list. Must admit if I had a month to decide whether or not I included something my portfolio would be looking a lot better. Perhaps that’s me being cynical - but either way the tip to buy these was dreadful.

Red Ninja, you maybe right but the share price has fallen from 250p, I had 140/150 as a target zone, so that signaled a buy for me, could go lower but ok holding

Mmm, my impression is that the US market futures are -ve so we may see more falls today or tomorrow.

Having been waiting patiently for a while with a target 150 area, so decided after this mornings news to take an initial stake at 154p, long term hold. No idea if it’s the bottom but comfortable at this entry level dyor as usual

Think so, I recall some discussion that they might be hard pressed to get £33M.

IMO it's more than Evergrande worries. Reports now of China having an energy crisis impacting industry.

Slightly below 150p is where any significant resistance resides and whilst Evergrade is causing some panic in the wider markets the USs weakness is likely to be impacted by bond yields continuing to surge, inflationary pressures and inadequate US debt ceiling resolutions...

Of course invest but keep a significant proportion of your powder dry presently for any impending market turmoil which unfortunately is incredibly difficult to have any decent grasp of especially where the US is concerned.

People just concerned about China in general due to Evergrande.

Over worry about China comes quickly.

140 looks more likely

Isn’t this a play on 2023 and China? Genuine question not a de-ramp

It’s called falling knife

Not just a XAAR point

Even if you aren’t holding XAAR you are already holding other falling knifes…
