Resistance just above 60p or a blast straight through it to longer-term resistance at 100p?

Yes perhaps a bid coming sooner rather than later

Opened up. If we push on towards 60p short term things may just get very interesting indeed...

Delighted to see this but it's still in a downtrend on the 200 sma. Needs to rise towards 60p and then test support. I hold.

Cyber,

I wouldn't disagree - although 50p is on my horizon first. I think we all see the potential for much higher levels going forwards.

XAR has shown resilience in consolidation. Moving up to the next level now?

I still think it's unusual for an insti to take such a large stake in a small-cap - XAR is currently well below the cap which many instis will even be allowed to invest at all...Not that it's a bad thing to see them of course!!

Don't see anything untoward here. For a fund the size of Schroders the only way a small cap stock will move the dial a fraction is if they own alot of it. Might as well be 30% or just short if they believe in the turnaround story. Plus if a potential acquirer hoves into view then they can act as kingmaker.

Not without making a bid or getting takeover panel permission.I suspect they are still hoovering up loose holding from when this was a big company, eg AXA still appear to have 4%.

I don't think they can exceed 30% right.

I thought they would get to 25.1% and stop. Definitely something going on - a takeover concert party maybe? Gonna try for a cheap cheeky 60p takeover?! Just my speculation of course.

Expected this to stop short of 25%. Something afoot here imo.
