24/7/2020 15:19 | And there's been money made for 10 years. Lost too of course which I presume is why you're so salty. For the records, I've made £120k twice on Xaar, lost £40k twice on Xaar. Do your own research, nothing is guaranteed, and get over your losses. Edwards is gone and he managed to fool everyone, even the board (also gone). Anyone who didn't buy when this was worth less than it's cash in the bank probably goes by "tips" too much and doesn't understand how shares work and the risks involved. | sickofit
24/7/2020 14:51 | Or £5 or £2 or any number of values in between. IC have been tipping them regularly for more than 10 years. | re1dy
22/7/2020 11:14 | Nuts that this hit 20p in March/April. ST reminds us that its NAV is 82p. | brucie5
22/7/2020 08:10 | Mentioned here -I wonder if Andy Brough is the source? | davebowler
21/7/2020 06:17 | To be fair IC had Xaar as one of their tips of the year back in January admittedly at a higher price than the recent low, but pre C-19 obviously. | tratante
20/7/2020 19:39 | "If I had quid for every time IC had tipped XAR. I would have made a lot more money than by buying the actual shares. One of these days it might work out for them though." What a ridiculous comment. Maybe you should have bought some at 19p then like I did? | sickofit
20/7/2020 16:21 | Andy Brough interview, Tomps2, was very illuminating.Worth a listen. | davebowler
20/7/2020 11:50 | If I had quid for every time IC had tipped XAR. I would have made a lot more money than by buying the actual shares. One of these days it might work out for them though. | re1dy
20/7/2020 11:16 | Simon Thompson of the IC tipping XAR today. | bigbigdave
20/7/2020 11:07 | This and SNG are making my day | volsung
20/7/2020 07:51 | Is good. I like | volsung
20/7/2020 07:45 | Long term 3-5 year hold for me to 400p first target. Think long term with these types of plays imo dyor as usual | ny boy
19/7/2020 21:35 | It's held this level well over the last weeks. Agree it's looking strong, and a take over is still not out of the question while it's trading in this range. | tratante
18/7/2020 10:48 | XAR mentioned a few times in this Andy Brough interview with piworld. Andy is Head of the UK & European Small & Mid Cap team at Schroders: | tomps2
18/7/2020 08:44 | I think it could recover to the £1 level in a relatively short period of time where it would face some resistance both technically & because it would then be trading close to NWC + the Xaar3D option value. Going beyond this level then requires one to take a view on the future earnings power of the business rather than primarily focussing on the balance sheet side. | dangersimpson2
17/7/2020 15:45 | This has done well, where do people see this going now? | tratante
16/7/2020 11:55 | dolly drop, it was probably Kanye trying to raise monies for his campaign lol | ny boy
16/7/2020 11:26 | Starting to pick up now after a slow start. Cash balance reduced by just £1.6m, which given that we've just been through one of the largest economic contractions ever and they will have consolidated the investment into Xaar3D, suggests that as we return to more normal markets the underlying business should now be firmly cash-generative. Which makes the continued discount to TBV, the majority of which are liquid assets, start to seem unwarranted. | dangersimpson2
16/7/2020 11:19 | Not surprising. Half mcap is cash. | babbler
16/7/2020 11:13 | well market likes the news | wanttowin
16/7/2020 07:31 | Probably because they are investing in the 3D printing business. | bookbroker
16/7/2020 07:25 | Yes that's right, that's why I said it's loosing money still. | amt
16/7/2020 07:19 | Cash lower than at finals. But still loads of it on the balance sheet. £25.3m at finals, £23.7m now. G. | garth
16/7/2020 06:58 | Pretty positive statement, where do you see the mention of losing money amt? | bookbroker |
