The African office was established in late 2008 in anticipation of the booming interest in Africa, in particular in commodities and agriculture Hands on experience Consistently ranked number one Nominated and Financial Adviser for AIM companies operating in Africa by number* *London Stock Exchange statistics | ![]() mreasygoing
07/3/2018 18:08 | Just been doing a bit of reading on them too. I liked this bit "At one end of the scale Strand has advised companies that have seen their share price rise by a multiple of 300 times in a year." (less keen on the next sentence though!) | ![]() spawny100

05/3/2018 11:14 | Mr 11% no it is not. It was badly managed in the past, but that time is now over. So politely go-away with all this nonsense. WTI value is now driven by the POC and quality of operations. Both have improved to the point where WTI should now start to return to profit. I suspect they will be restarting Central Ops soon. Last couple of announcements emphasised their operational readiness. As a higher cost producer, WTI is highly leveraged to POC improvements (and vice-versa). | ![]() wassapper

04/3/2018 23:02 | What do you mean by 'bumper'? You do realise that they are going to show losses? Do you mean that the losses will be 'bumper'? It would have to be spectacularly bad to beat the $28,806,000 LOSS in H2 2017 (6months to 30th June 2017). Probably will just be another loss of about $10m - perhaps a bit better because of the increased copper price. | ![]() augustusgloop
02/3/2018 13:11 | I'm still laughing at his posts. Is the date the best the Troll Farm can do ? We should be on for a bumper interims. | ![]() mreasygoing
02/3/2018 11:51 | This is a pointless argument. The results will come before the due date. augustus is just trying to stir up uncertainty over a very minor point. Ignore him - filtered. | ![]() wassapper

02/3/2018 10:03 | leedskier 2 Mar '18 - 09:31 - 15525 of 15525 How many Aim companies post a forward calendar when interim and final reports will be posted? --------- Not many -- they simply post these results within a small window each year. WTI has the stinkiest shareholder respect policy of the companies in a very stagnant pool. | ![]() augustusgloop
02/3/2018 09:31 | Is the troll farm paying well? How many Aim companies post a forward calendar when interim and final reports will be posted? This company always posts a quarterly update, providing the production numbers and the costs. News has hardly been thin on the ground here over the last few months. | ![]() leedskier
02/3/2018 09:27 | If they can't even bother to let you know when the results are coming out -- what else can't they be bothered to tell you? Awful disrespect for shareholders. | ![]() augustusgloop

28/2/2018 21:06 | I agree they could be more communicative but that's accountants for you. The delay is likely caused by a dependency; monthly board meeting to sign off, auditors, Orion negotiations, regulatory approval for Kitumba, Tsumeb recovery plan etc.H1 will be substantially better than last year although C1 costs (already announced) reflect stacking & recovery rates. | ![]() jp2011
28/2/2018 19:01 | Oh dear, the best that the Troll Farm can do is talk about dates. My optimism goes from strength to strength. | ![]() mreasygoing
