See posts 15178 & 15179 and especially the second. You will see that Logiman is a forced seller. Naughtily not giving proper notice of its reducing position.

What is Logiman?

It was the contractor who did engineering works on the site now producing the copper. There is a dispute between it and WTI over the contract.

It held -- I think 10% of the shares in issue.

According to WTI's website

"Last Updated: 25 January 2018

Logiman CC have not informed the Company that they have passed through the 9% threshold.

Major Shareholders

Shareholder Logiman 79,351,872 7.5%"

So it had sold off 2.5% by 25 January, just 7.5% to go (less what it has sold between 25 January and yesterday).

dixi I think you may be correct in thinking that the shares may be coming from Logiman to fill the daily demand for shares.

What the MMs have been doing is delaying reporting of the large trades by two or three hours. So we may discover later this morning or this afternoon that Logiman has sold a large parcel this morning in a number of different shapes.

Well Logiman have plenty of shares to shift (assuming they are still distressed sellers). It would be ideal if an institutional investor would take these off their hands - but I guess that is unklikely in the current circumstances.

Given a NEW basher moved on to the BB yesterday and appears again today, my guess is it is an order.

Strange but true, MM still make money filling large orders. Normally the order is at a pre-agreed price and those filling the order increase their take if the order is filled at a lower price.

But where are the shares coming from? Not from private investors because they are not being shaken out.

A placement would be surprising because it would require Ouion's approval. Add to which there are no cash requirements which would be satisfied by a placement. The company has a large drawdown facility in place sufficient to meet its current corporate needs.

Pick & Mix

1. Ahead of the Chinese New Year next Friday copper is expected to retrace.

2. The markets are very volatile and down today.

3. There are gaps on the chart.

4. The Institutional seller may need help to sell off its remaining shares.

5. The MM have orders to fill.

6. There are too many long CFDs and spread betting companies want to shake them out.

This why I suggested two days ago that no-one can make predictions as to share price movements especially on Aim shares.

It is inevitable that WTIs share price will drop a little as there will be those short termers thst will trade here into this rise for a quick 10% however anyone that has researched here can easily see that this share is way undervalued.I bought in at 0.8p and have topped up twice my most recent yesterday at 3p and I have no doubt that I will triple my investment this year. Tschudi on its own justifies a re rating of Weatherly even with our Orion debt of $100M partic with the POC above $3.Our C1 costs for the year to date are $4500/tonne and our nameplate production is 17000 tonnes/ annum.So revenue of circa $40M/ annum will soon be rolling in.It is expected that The Orion debt will now be rescheduled over a term.Orion own 29% of the company.The Berg Aukas deal is class.Orion are supporting that.We have two other mines on maintenance. The company has virtually hedged all its copper and exchange rate to prevent surprises.After this April I am expecting even stronger hedging.Downside is we are going into the wet season with Tschudi so co has stated next quarters fig will be a weak quarter. It wasnt that long ago Weatherly was heading for 16p personally I am expecting this again. There is no need to ramp this share it will deliver just be patient.Trade it ic you want to but on this share I do not believe this is the best option at present even with the share price at 3p.Once Orion reshapes the debt expect Weatherly to double very soon. Needless to say NAI and do some research.GLAHs

What are the expected terms? Anyone have any idea? Orion own 25% of shares already but have $125m (?) outstanding debt. Will they just restructure it over a longer time frame. Convert to equity (unlikely unless they move on company) or what?

Well done however to all here. I avoided this at 0.5p as didn't like the Orion situation, but given the share price is 3p, I'm a tad annoyed with myself.
