No! but most of the downside is in.
I intend to be long $55 June 15 crude. Not quite yet.
Crude may have a few weeks more to slide.

Anything that relies on rolling over monthly futures contracts isn't going to work well, even the CRB index itself has that problem! So I don't touch anything from ETFs Securities - now even their 'physical' precious metals are starting to look virtual as the books don't add up apparently. That one could be a hoax but I'm not taking chances. Buy gold in BullionVault or GoldMoney or an Asian gold shop if you live in Asia. That's the only way to preserve wealth in an apparently trustworthy way, except stockmarkets seem to be doing ok relative to gold for a change so I'm just in those these days.

One might consider ETF Securities dishonest at the very least when it implies these things track commodities. But do the regulators care? Yes they love it just as it is, we get not to notice how fast inflation really is!

Contango works in the holder's favour with SOIL as it's a short that is designed to give the opposite return to the long oil holding.
