29/1/2004 17:44 | Ken Now that does sound 'tasty'! Price seems ok too for a car that quite obviously will have a fair bit of 'go'. Like the sound of the alloys and the paint job. I shall be down to the Honda agent this weekend to look around. Just a thought, would you think we could both get a better deal if we bought two?? Probably too late but that's how my mind works!! Imagine if we could drum up support for half a dozen or ten motors, the bargaining power we'd have. Maybe we should start a thread encouraging co-operative purchasing....could be a nice business there?? Whadaya say Ken? Bully | bullishbuyer
29/1/2004 17:19 | Bully - I don't know what you mean by a bit tasty, but take a look. Here is the quote they gave me. NEW (04) ACCORD (4dr only) 2.4 i-VTEC Executive SS (Auto) £21,185 2.4 i-VTEC Executive SS (Auto) (17" Alloys) £21,749 Metallic Paint Plus £270 | kenbachelor
29/1/2004 16:57 | LOL! I fear you've awoken the beast. | scuba doo
29/1/2004 16:55 | Scuba Doo - I know what you mean, but the subject was inappropriate on the thread where I was discussing this with Bully. | kenbachelor
29/1/2004 16:54 | Ken Maybe I should just take a look and rely on the extensive research you've done. I'm not that fussed with cars but I've always wondered what it's like to get behind the wheel of something a bit tasty.....Rovers are OK but they can be a little boring. Bully | bullishbuyer
29/1/2004 16:53 | Glad to hear it Ken, but I hope you know what you've gone and started again! I put it to you that you like the attention, what other explanation could there be for it..... | scuba doo
29/1/2004 16:47 | After a long time looking I ordered a new Honda Accord 2.4 Auto Exec. Having had a Prelude some years ago (when I was young enough to bend down and crawl into it), I know that the engineering is unbeatable. I also found a dealer who would give me 10% discount sales@hondas-direct. Bully - To be frank I have never driven a Rover car so am not qualified to judge how they compare with Honda. I can only say that having looked around I am happy that the deal I have done gives me the best value as the car has everything included (except for a memory of the drivers seat position) even pan European sat nav. | kenbachelor
11/1/2004 11:49 | Zuke Could we have a larger picture please ? LOL ! R | robby george

11/1/2004 11:12 | True ....the fastest, strongest, and richest! It's all to do with the old pre-historic stuff .....feed me, beat-off predators, and give me strong offspring. Poor men, there are no free lunches, it's a hard life :( I'll go-away now ;o) | dhedra
11/1/2004 10:53 | yup .....sundays are made for all the vices ;) | dhedra
11/1/2004 10:50 | LOL and aye. For my breakfast my long suffering girlfriend cooked me 3 bits of bacon, 1 omega enriched free-range poached egg, 2 tomatoes, a few chips and of course some baked beans. You'd be correct to say that I'm greedy but if you want to get the results out you need to put the fuel in (as Ken will know from his car research). Did you eat yet dhedra? Happy Sunday Regards. 11/1/2004 10:47 | no they don't, they think it's naff ....LOL! Have you had your breakfast yet neo? ;o) | dhedra
11/1/2004 10:42 | Ken. Do you want flood lighting on the front of your new car? 16 spot lights that blind at 100 meters whatever the weather? Women love that Ken. Jeremy Anderson | neo anderson
11/1/2004 06:57 | rupert: a column gear change, lovingly polished leather front bench-seat and a willingness to accelerate hard into r. h. bends is the best way. but think elastic rather than webbing in the belt department. | bbbb
11/1/2004 02:21 | Any chance of an update on the ole car front Ken? Ken, do you want young women staring at you whilst you're driving? Flashing their breasts at you on the odd occasion perhaps? Do you Ken? I know i DO. Rabbit | bare rupert
