Actually Ape I'm not shorting it but I'm (oh oh!) looking for it to base. I don't know where but will be watching and longing when it does if I get a good entry. Old Obelix is long I think already for a small position.

There are a variety of Old Commodity threads here abouts but this is the only cocoa one I know of.

i thought that these people were a thing of the past , but alas it appears that they are not. the queen visits the east end and they all come scuttling out from their hiding places of the last two decades.
i would have thought that sewing a few buttons on your coat and calling yourselves the king and queen would be a treasonable offence!
if i taped a few cider cans to my coat and proclaimed myself to be the can king , would i receive any respect?

PROVINCETOWN, Mass. - A clown whose street antics offended some residents in town ended up with the last laugh last week.

Police Chief Robert Anthony had denied Perri the Clown a street performer's permit, but changed his mind after the American Civil Liberties Union interceded on the clown's behalf.

"I have no just cause to refuse him [on] a First Amendment basis," Anthony told the Cape Cod Times.

Anthony had refused to grant Perri Rlickman's street-performer permit after receiving complaints that last year the clown had whistled inappropriately at young girls, made homophobic slurs and was frequently drunk, the Cape Cod Times reported.

Perri, known for his trademark whistle and skillful balloon-animal making, is "not good for the image of Provincetown," said Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Candace Collins-Boden, who had written a letter to Anthony asking him to deny Rlickman's permit.

Rlickman contacted the ACLU, which took a look at the town bylaws on street performers. ACLU staff attorney Sarah Wunsch said that simply not liking someone wasn't enough reason to obstruct that person's livelihood.

Anthony granted Rlickman the permit on June 11 after discussing the case again with town officials.

Not looked at all these alleged postings but I too
myself had a person impersonating as day_dreamer with
a gap or a - in the name, it's all too easy thesedays
to make a new nickname but I never tried to hide who
I was on here and it seems the free bb is
lost any credibility with the likes of Clerman and his sad
group ruining the site day and night so best just to let them
get on with it.

think of the innocent little children who have been emotionally scarred by these monsters. i myself have become a heavy drinker and this can surely be in part attributed to my childhood encounters with clowns.
btw , to defame means "to attack the good reputation of" , so it doesn't really apply in this case :o)

I think this thread breaches ADVFN terms and conditions. Inciting violence against defenceless minority groups like clowns is despicable.
