01/7/2015 00:30 | Hugo great summary but to get any further Blooomberg will have to throw millions of dollars at this they will more likely start to consider settle prior to trial. marksman case what ever that means next in November. If we win this a president will be set and then it will be a domino effect with all other data management servers across USA and yes we should expect 9 figure settlements a plenty. Can easily see 30 to 40p compensation per worldlink share and don't forget many players still holding short positions. I have been told that changes to the share register have been happening even whilst share suspended there are some very worried shorts out there. Worldlink and myclubbetting will have their day in the sunshine soon. I believe a lot of doubters will have to eat their words one day soon | warwick69
30/6/2015 21:30 | As it happens, I think this is a good outcome but a million miles away from a patent trial win (or even that we can get it to trial). But we did not fall at the first hurdle. Bloomberg dropped the ball. Serves them right for being complacent. hxxp://ptabtrialblog | hugosamuel
30/6/2015 21:27 | The Quest case vs. Charles Schwab and Bloomberg has not gone to trial yet. Whoever told you that is lying. All that has happen is Bloomberg et al tried for a quick and dirty dismissal of the patent itself (or burden of proof) at PTAB and thus avoid the need for a trial completely. The petition to have the patent thrown out went against Bloomberg because they made an insufficient showing of standing in a covered business method review, they focused on individual elements not the whole. It reads to me like PTAB effectively encouraged them to try again with more detail: "The Board [PTAB] noted that while a full showing of prior art invalidity is not necessary, more than a conclusory showing of standing that addresses the claimed subject matter as a whole is required." Also noted: "Patent Owner stated that Petitioner did not meet its burden because it did not analyze any of the claim language of the ’468 Patent or perform any comparison between the prior art and the claims of the patent." At an actual trial, the Petitioner WILL analyse the claim language and compare prior art. hxxp://www.law360.co Note: "The lawsuit is pending." | hugosamuel
30/6/2015 20:42 | And all you need to do is to give your bank details to a nice man in Nigeria . . | peterblok
30/6/2015 15:34 | no way .... | still waiting
30/6/2015 15:32 | Well i had a call from guys at worldlink today stating that they have won there patent infringement case against Bloomsburg in the US ant that the payout will be huge. I was told wordlink shareholders get 5% with 20% going to The Mybetting. Not sure what this all means as there doesnt seem to be any RNS, Company News or investor share chat mentioning or confirming this. Maybe someone on this board may know something and can update or confirm this. | nmknight
22/6/2015 14:59 | not taken his pills for his bipolar disorder clearly warwick69 4 Apr'13 - 15:43 - 4603 of 4603 its all in the hands of the FCA now i have lodged a complaint but i think they are already onto this company ??? 19/6/2015 16:21 | I think NR should take us all to the Savoy anyway.. | still waiting
19/6/2015 14:22 | When that happens warwick - happy to take you and the Missus for a slap up dinner at the Savoy Grill. However, I don't expect us to meet unfortunately . . . . | peterblok
19/6/2015 14:21 | I'll be gloating with you if we 3-4 bag! What's the story with a relist then? What is Worldlink now? Before it was patent and sports betting but we are neither anymore. Patent sold and no longer anything to do with betting. So what is left? The 5% from any royalties would surely just go toward WGP's £5 million of creditors etc won't it? Can't relist for that, the company has no purpose.Plus the Quest trial has not even started! The "win" announced earlier in April was simply the PTAB rejecting the attempt to have the patent be set aside so avoiding the need for the trial itself (and even that said they needed to provide more detail that "a conclusory showing of standing"). I suspect it will go back to the PTAB again with a detailed response that the Chairperson of the PTAB indicated before a trial even starts. | hugosamuel
19/6/2015 13:56 | Hugo you have a valid point but I am going to gloat when this relists and those still short have the shock of their lives as the millions of fees start to roll in from the patent even the 5% will be enough to push this to 3 or 4 bag from previous trading range but may yet be towards em of year early 2016? | warwick69
19/6/2015 13:21 | So not a great fan then Stig? Does anyone know how and when we are going to be able to claim Capital Losses on this one, or has NR stitched us up here as well? | peterblok
19/6/2015 11:42 | there isn't even a world council of pigs, but they are going to set it up just to take this matter forward | the stigologist
19/6/2015 11:38 | good advice but he is so thick he'll give it neil riches to run | the stigologist
19/6/2015 10:53 | For those interested, this is the MCB tie-up with Premier Sports. hxxp://www.premiersp See prominent MCB banner bottom half. Proud broadcast sponsors of the Copa Amercia ON PREMIER SPORTS. | hugosamuel
19/6/2015 10:45 | Ignore the trolls Warwick but you've got to admit stating they are the main sponsor for Copa America is a pretty major misrepresentation of the facts. Why couldn't you just have stated they were the partner of the company with UK broadcasting rights? It took me all of two minutes to check that and go from very excited to very disappointed and disillusioned (again). If you'd started from the position, people would not doubt the legitimacy and motives of your posts. People would be discussing the positives of MCB not the negatives of the message. You do MCB no favours. Much better for people to think "a good step for MCB" rather than "more exaggeration and lies". The gap between being the main sponsor of a continental tournament and partnering a UK broadcaster with rights over a different continent's tournament is massive, truly massive. Irrespective of the above, it is still a good development but in reality, only people paying the £9.99 on channel 451 will see it (as opposed to tens of millions from being the actual main sponsors of CA like Santander and Kia). Lots of small steps for MCB is good though. No debate on that. | hugosamuel
19/6/2015 09:42 | I just hope some of you trolls are short as you may be well out of pocket when this relists !!! | warwick69
16/6/2015 22:50 | warwick69 is one of the most stupid and gullible idiots around | topnumptyconmaninfo
16/6/2015 22:34 | warwick69. Is your real name Neil Riches? | peterblok |
