Warwick, I have absolutely no doubt at all that you have NOT read the ruling from our Markman hearing by Judge Sleet.I want us to be successful in the trial and think this slanging match is horribly timed but the driving force is likely the Sun using it to sell papers on the Allardyce/England Manager/scam angle and we are just unfortunate it was us. They could have done this at any time but the truth is, apart from us in here, no-one cares about Worldlink. The typical Sun reader wants to see big headlines and without the Allardyce angle, they would not have raised an eyebrow let alone covered it.Ps: I honestly do like your sentiment but your post at 14.18 is your worst yet. The few shorters theory is truly ludicrous, I don't know why you keep banging on about it. Have you considered that it just might be that the 95% drop in Frankfurt, followed by the 95% drop on LSE (both on low regulation listing types), the announced but unfulfilled deals with Football League, various Prem clubs and the large number of long investors with losses might perhaps, just MAYBE...outweigh a handful of shorters you suspect might exist. The share price drops and deals were our doing, not a 3rd party. Showing some caution on listing number 3 from the same guy on another low regulation listing is probably sensible.Anyway, just 10 days until September and the 4th Flotation date you have promised for My Club Betting. To 4laffalot, I have been critical of WGP in the past but at least the patent is finally coming to a definitive solution either way. However, I remain of the view that accepting hospitality then bringing a man's wife into the piece is low.To finish, this chat room is about Worldlink. The patent is the core of Worldlink. The trial is in January. Quest have invested 7 figures in this, the Defendants more in defending it and will not settle. We will know soon and we have been waiting ages for it. All the rest is pointless right now.

I hope you are right Warwick for your sake.
My take is I will do any thing to stop this man taking any one else's money.
Mine is one of the investor quotes in the article and I am still in contact with Neil the journalist as he has so much more to publish.
I lost £50,000 and have accepted that. However he will not float this new scam.

Cromarty why do you say that do you understand what will happen if we get a settlement from this very substantial patent trial we are not talking pennies here but 100's of millions of dollars

What is your take then?????

Warwick, I like your optimism. I'd like to believe that Riches is a decent sort. When the suspension happened, I laid into him big time with a fulminating piece of invective in my e-mail. He was however prepared to talk to me over the phone and explained that he didn't hide from anyone and had to do what he did to at least save something of the company.

To be honest I don't quite understand everything that is going on with this legal battle but I'm optimistic that at some point I will recoup some of the thousands I lost on this punt.

It was a punt at the time and unbelievably I ploughed in just 2 days before the suspension so was very unlucky.

I expect there are still a few shorts outstanding from 4 years ago that thought they were home and dry but they may yet have a bit of a headache coming there way as this has every chance of being lifted from suspension on reciept of a massive claim on the patent? It will not take much of a payment to cause this to rise quite a bit there were only 40 million odd shares in issue it was valued at a poultry 5 mil on suspension if I recall ?

If they get just 5% of a multi 100 million claim then we could be multiples of the old 8p and with future patent cases to chase many millions more to follow in payments they will just be doing special dividends to shareholders and anyone short will have to meet those dividends

This is not dead in any way shape or form yet

Perhaps that's what's behind this slagging match

Yes agree Hugo That's the Sun for you.And if he had anything sinister to really hide, he wouldnt of allowed the Sun in.Been open and wanted to get his story out there and promote BETS at the same time, but been royally stitched by the gutter press. The addition of big Sam into the mix has made it all look worse as they've hijacked Sam's position and 'household name' status to increase the interest levels of the public.Despicable sensationalist newspaper, who have as I said in previous post, acted in their own interests to weaken the opposition to their new bet service.

What I find staggering is Mr Riches invites them into his home, shows them hospitality, co-operates and then they do a total hatchet job and even bring his wife into the article too. That is so low. Purest form of gutter press.I thought that email statement he put out was very good. Thank you for posting it.

Breakdance. Many thanks for that.Like all shareholders, I'm waiting for progress on both the BETS listing and also the Worldlink patent dispute. And I'm happy to see both companies are present in my portfolio. Its disappointing that an influential paper like the sun can write such a scathing story, which they claim to have researched, yet they completely fail to mention what Worldlink was actually about, and the ongoing patent dispute over in the states....something which "could" have far reaching consequences for delivery of data, not limited to just betting but also for real-time financial data. The sun does not address this very important aspect.Possibly the article has another motive, and that is to try and remove the threat of "my club betting" as it is obviously a direct competitor to the sun's own new betting service.Shame on you Sun.......

It is the front page headline in the print copy of the Sun. Headline isBig Sam Quits 'Big Scam'The double page article on page 4 and 5.Probably not the best timing given the patent case. I cannot help but think whoever did this is a little self-defeating. Of all the times to do it, now surely was the one time to say nothing and see what happens. On the patent case itself, the remaining Defendants have recently submitted Rebuttal Expert reports. One on Non-Infringement, the other on Patent Invalidity. They are filed on behalf of all Defendants. We have already submitted our expert reports beforehand of course.

Unfortunately, that article does concentrate on the negatives.Possibly sone disgruntled shareholders alerted the sun to make their investigation. What is disappointing is that it makes no mention of the legal dispute which surrounds the worldlink patents. So readers are left unaware that this is still being played out in court by a third party for the benefit of worldlink. It's an outside chance of winning the legal case, but hope does remain of some form of payout if they do win. Its a pity the article made no mention of this.Possibly the sun are also unaware. And I expect big Sam is also unaware.

Now that the national newspapers have caught up with Riches, maybe the serious fraud squad and police might now take a look finally.

I don't care jackknife if they float I can sell and get some money back don't care how bad accounts are!

A listing means shareholders can trade?

And can recoup some money no one ever thought this would happen!

And even Worldlink May one day resume trading from suspension with some value from the patent settlements in the courts as we speak

Funnier things have happened?

That would shut you neg heads up

Gosh I might make some money in this dead dog and millions in your other hated share PHE who would ever have thought that

One day you may congratulate me on my amazing resilience in the face of disaster.?

Well your predicted disaster
