I think I have 50 shares somewhere .

Lost a massive amount in 55 companies due to that broker talking me out of selling. It has not put me off though. Better now that I can use ISA for AIM shares. I should have gone to another broker. The sad point was that if it could have been done online in those days I would have pushed the buttons and sold at huge profits. Hoodless Brenan was another boiler room type of broker that I lost on.

I had more reasons to go for it. Called brokers that had got me to buy the various shares on the 17th March 2000 to liquidate everything. I allowed myself to be talked out of doing it by them. The rest is history.

Its so long ago can`t really remember, or find much of the paper work, and can`t really be bothered, and I think its my fault for taking the gambles on such stocks anyway.I have still got a share cert. for 1 World Trade Systems PLC share that I ended up with from the Tamaris days that I think cost me just over £1000.That was I think a tip in the Sunday Telegraph.They sent me the latest report and financial statements a few days ago which is why I revisited this b.b.
It must be costing them far more than my share is worth to do this.Had several over the years.

Yes, it took a long time and that is normal, 6 months plus but well worth it. Can be done without help if you do not mind the paperwork and have all the original documents.

I had someone ring me yesterday, thought it was a scam as could not understand much with his accent,but could be something to do with Tamaris or many other dud 1980`s or 1990`s investments sold to me by Sheldon Paul.Number was withheld so cant ring back,

Did you use city equities when you bought Tamaris or a similar type broker? If you lost money overall with such a broker there is a compensation scheme with the FCA.

I do hope so. They ended up costing me £12.60 a share, after Tamaris (bought 18 years ago !!) and WTS consolidation.

According to Capita share, these are worth 70 pence each? Strange how they arrive at that figure.

News out again about AGM this time, but the relisting still has not been sorted out yet. I suppose after all those years of waiting we can wait a little longer!!!!!!!!
