My chart now shows that a golden-cross has formed using a 40d and 500d MA (which is a long-term buy signal). This suggests to me that this one definitely has real upside potential and, so, I'll be adding on any further weakness.

Morning Meeting Note

Accuma Group(23p) - Encouraging Trading Update - BUY - TP 50p

Encouraging Trading Update
The statement highlights that results for the year ended 31st July 2007 will be "in-line with market expectations."
This, plus news that earn-out commitments are likely to be paid in cash should be received well.
IVA Business - run-rate of cases said to be 190 per month. Bank of supervisory cases totals 6,000 equating to a value of £18m of contracted revenue.
Other divisions - debt management and loan broking buisnesses are said to be trading in-line with expectations.
Earn-outs - the company expects to pay £1.4m to Loan-Line in Oct'07 and a further, but unquantified payment to Byrom & Keeley in March '08. Thomas Charles is not expected to receive a payment. The Group has current cash balances of £3.3m and is cash flow positive on a monthly basis. Therefore management are expecting to make the payments in cash.
This statement will help ease concerns re. potential dilution and current trading. The question now will be how the new fee structure, when eventually agreed and implemented, will impact numbers in 2008 and beyond. For the time being we are retaining our current forecasts. For 2007 we expect Adj. PBT of £2.4m, EPS of 5.1p, DPS 0.0p, rising in 2009 to £2.9m, EPS of 6.3p and no DPS. This leaves the stock trading on a PER of 4.5x, falling to 3.7x. BUY.

every new buy on WTS seems to trigger the offer, then, a little later, the mid-price moves too

the bid price, of course, is the last to go.. :-)

makes a change to see some blue ink as I hold some wng (for the long term, down 63%, ouch)

acg is another to watch too today (in-line profits RNS, should rebound)

I agree, worth a small/tiny punt at these levels

the meteoric rate of rise (last week) will still be in people's minds

a few buys today and it hits 12p or 20p, no trouble.
Highly illiquid. And high risk, of course.

Going back up again today. Could be a good opportunity to buy a small amount as the potential reward-loss ratio looks very tempting.

see post 58 on 14th Aug. Not far wrong I think.

Up 500% on no news, looks like a good shorting opportunity if you could. Certainly wouldn't buy.
