Brando this is just a quick check in. You say that there are small trades running up to 23.5. Do they happen to be the same size? Could be a MM looking to fill an order and having a bit of difficulty. Old trick is to zip the price up and then back down again triggering a clutch of trailing stop losses.

Just a thought. Good news for you holders if that is the case. ie minimal stock coming into the market at 22 and a buyer in the wings.

These went lower on profit taking and then last weeks market jitters - today was bad as well...

Don't know much about SKR but I hope you do better than QED. BARC was up today ;-).

Sold out of OMI again today - traded it three times in the last month for a profit each time but I would guess it's done for a while. Also sold my AYM at what I hope is the top, would aim to buy back in below 40.0p sometime in the next few months. Also sold my HVN which might have been a mistake - time will tell.

PTR still doing very well - got a nice T+20 running on that one at the moment. Hopefully news tomorrow.

As for drinks - what about the week starting Monday the 13th?

Binned my QED this am as it didn't go whoosh last Friday. Jumped into SKR, another one I've been viewing for a while. Hopefully a better call than BARC & QED!!!

Any word on a pint?

Yes binned BARC for QED. The sign of a desperate man(20% down on BARC). I thought (as it seems wrongly) that QED management might turn a corner at these results. At best QED will tread water and BARC will fall further allowing e to buy back into BARC. Yes I think the banks are near bottom again but I was trying to be greedy. I think BARC have a much larger exposure to Portugal & Spain than Ireland so if those two start to wobble you could see BARC go sub £2.
I missed the latest rise up on WKP eventhough I did recommend it to some at work when they were below 20p!. I'm fully loaded with AFR so looked at PTR and thought "good but too much exposure to one area for me". As for OMI & INL. To be honest I was too lazy to properly look into them.

Must be very disappointing for WKP holders to see them down at 22.5 after those results. Property price worries I guess? It's a blip so don't worry. I am raising my buy back in price to 21 and this time I will tuck them away!, if I get a chance to pick them up?????

So you have binned your BARC and gone for QED...

..what was wrong with WKP - or OMI, or PTR or even INL for that matter?

Still holding my BARC - also at a loss - but some of the pundits seem to be calling the bottom on the banks.

The quesion really is how long till BARC gets back to 350.0p... three months, six months - answers on a postcard...

Might take a long SB (June 2011) on BARC tomorrow.

A really good day for Compass (I hold plenty) makes up for the disappointment with this one. WKP'll only fly after I've sold out - not that I plan to do that just yet.
