Pleased to learn that you are once again a holder .I do not think that you will go far wrong here.
Wearing my sky blue hat, there is no reason why revenues should not double-and beyond-,with visibility likely to come into view in the current year.
Broad brush then,£20million generates a bottom line profit(and cash) of say £8million.Multiply by 20 for an outfit demonstrating such onward growth prospects and we have a market cap of £100 million(@70pence per share).
In the meantime,Infor might bid £200million.
Alternatively(says Dr. Doom),Infor might introduce their own SaaS WFM solution to outperform and undercut WSI's.Risk is omnipresent is it not?

That sammy Ledgard dictionary must be so old it belongs in the museum. However going back to the posting I am putting my seat belt on ,but my fingers are trembling. Hope the reason is the posting and not old age!!! Looks like my Equitable Pension which has gone down 7 years on the trot can be forgotten. We will keep the champagne on ice for now,but I am certain you are right.

muddy - As ever your enthusiasm based on well founded research and analysis is infectious. I bought back in a week or so ago and may well add again shortly. I've noticed that for weeks now the online buying limits have been set low where as sell limits have been substantially higher.

Well at the AGM they did say they would start "banging the drum" at the appropriate time, and I deduce that that time may well have arrived.Confidence derived from securing a broader rollout within the entire Walmart empire ? We'll see.

I really liked your point about cash collection, no cashflow problems in expanding this outfit........very nice indeed.

Keep up your evangelical musings. 8o)

Just checked out the meaning of "DRAMATIC INCREASE" in my Sammy Ledgard concise Leeds dictionary.

"A very rare phenomenon. Can cause eye popping, mouth watering, scalp tingling, leg trembling increases in ones wealth. If encountered, try to stay calm and ensure seatbelt is securely fastened."

Workplace Systems International...For a company that so far has not been inclined to announce even the tranformational Walmart contract, gained against global competition,to be talking of currently experiencing such exponential growth; then the figures must be impressive indeed. It is worth reiterating that WSI operates on a 90% profit margin and that revenues are collected monthly(CASH!!)by direct debit.

WSI bears all the hallmarks of a continuous multi bagger. We have already doubled from 4pence;then doubled again to 16pence and now seem to have 32pence(for short term starters) firmly in our sights.
Looking good,
Mud.

Is WSI about to commence announcing its undoubted recent successes,I wonder.
The following statement from our company is pretty good for starters:-

"Chicago, IL., December 20th 2010 - WorkPlace Systems, the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service retail workforce management solutions is seeing a DRAMATIC INCREASE in the adoption of its WorkPlace OnLine solution. Retailers are starting to recognize both the commercial and financial benefits facilitated by SaaS and are favoring it over the deployment of the traditional on-premise model.

WorkPlace Systems has seen an increasing demand from retailers for SaaS workforce management and has already implemented WorkPlace OnLine for retailers in the US, European and Australian markets.

The ability to very quickly deploy SaaS workforce management makes it an obvious priority for retailers, projects will deliver a very quick Return on Investment (RoI), in some cases, less than a month. With our new implementation approach WorkPlace achieved a rollout to 4,400 stores in less than 13 weeks for a major US retailer", commented Barney Quinn CEO.

In 2011 WorkPlace Systems will be celebrating 25 years of excellence and innovation in the workforce management industry. The knowledge and experience accrued over the years has been critical in creating a radically different implementation methodology, which, combined with WorkPlace OnLine, delivers a much higher rate of success when implementing workforce management.

WorkPlace Systems is continuing to invest and restructure the business to support the SaaS deployment model. "It is incredible to think that the world wide web wasn't available when WorkPlace first traded, yet I'm convinced SaaS will become the dominant and preferred method of deploying workforce management", concluded Quinn."

It won't be long now before we hit the 20p as forecast by mudbath,

Infor is presently demonstrating WorkBrain at the National Retail Federation expo in New York where it is busy signing up new customers to join the 70,000 it already services.
One of them is American Apparel,

What American Apparel Says
"Our ability to implement Global Time and Attendance in just 15 weeks is truly a testament to the flexibility and extendibility of the Workbrain application," said Stacey Shulman, vice president, Technology, American Apparel. "Infor Workbrain's mathematical -- rather than heuristic -- approach to solving our scheduling challenges was a key factor in our decision to move forward."

Fire away broomsticks.
My view is that the WSI thread is here solely to aid our investment decisions.
Sort of a team thing,really.
Can't do with purposefully contentious contributors.
Fortunately we enjoy a particularly focussed discussion here.
Might not stay that way however if the share price continues to climb.

At present WSI is attending the National Retail Federation's 100th Annual Convention and Expo in New York. Attending this convention may provide WSI with the opportunity to kickstart some delayed orders or attract new customers.

nothing ventured, nothing gained. imo

As long as it's not in this current financial year, then I am easy on timing firth.I will be happy should WSI attain £1.00 over 5years based on the company prospering over the short/medium term.

Agreed and agreed broomsticks.
Yet I fear the potential for WSI to expand its WFM software across the expanding Walmart estate will be academic to WSI shareholders should ,or more likely when, Infor successfully bids for our company.

mudbath,

I would appreciate your opinion when I say that,

Sells are being mopped up which is not surprising as WSI has over £2m in cash ready imo for when the Walmart/Massmart deal is completed which completion is scheduled for the end of March. Andy Bond who has just stepped down as Asda's Chief Executive a tenure he held for five years before becoming the Chairman is to complete the process for Asda's parent company Walmart.

Walmart has approx. 8,613 retail units in 15 countries whilst Massmart has approx. 290 stores in 14 countries in sub-Saharan but as the two companies are closely aligned in retail style any disruption to retail trading during the handover period should be minimal. Imo.

NB. My figures are approximate as different websites carry different numbers.

AND up goes the trading volume.
Already an unheard level of 450,000 WSI shares sold this morning.
FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS FOLKS !!
The last piece of the jigsaw will be a big trade(s) @ 20pence ++.

We are starting to see share turnover becoming more substantial. For me,the majority of transactions, despite being described as buys, have in fact been sells(particularly as it remains virtually impossible to buy WSI stock in any volume);probably therefore part filling a substantial buy order.
If we see continued increases in the quantity of shares traded then a significant rerating/bid approach cannot be far away.
After all,WSI must look HUGELY ATTRACTIVE to Infor,to whom a potential, realistic Workplace Systems price tag of,say,£100million(translating to 70pence per share),would be inconsequential.
IN other words, imo, the share price graph is about to go perpendicular once again.
Watch this space...(closely!!).
