Funny you should mention that subject mudbath, whilst at the AGM I posed a question to the board based loosely around their views on the value of the company indicated by the current share price. The chairman made reference to the fact that as a 49% shareholder in the company, any takeover would have to be at many multiples of the current share price to gain his attention.

In summary a takeover can only happen if the board is supporting it, and to do so they would be looking for a "significant sum", so no hostile bid on this outfit.

Infor are waxing ever more lyrical about the benefits of its Task Management module(POWERED BY WORKPLACE SYSTEMS) and have recently expanded their Brochure detailing its benefits.

The Task Management module is,according to Infor,THEIR MOST SOUGHT AFTER SOFTWARE MODULE IN 2010 !!!!!

What chance has WSI of staying independent ??
What would the exit price be ??
And if we continue to stand alone, just HOW HIGH can WSI revenues climb ??
REMEMBER......90% of revenues = PROFIT/CASH !!

9.75 PENCE--------HERE WE COME !!!!!!

Good to see the WSI share price at last reflecting a glint of our company's exciting potential. The Wal Mart contract,in place for only part of the financial year, enabled North American revenues to move ahead from £561,000 to £1,535,000 and transformed the previous years loss on NA operations of £671,000 into a profit of £547,000.It would not be a such a giant step for N.A. revenues to multiply threefold from here, taking an 18 month view.Hopefully this improvement will run alongside a recovery in European income streams and from new global revenues once the proposed multi-lingual software is released.Such a scenario would see net profitability surging towards, or even surpassing £3million,with the distinct prospect of much much more to come.Profits in this vicinity allied to a continuing vibrant business pipeline would firmly underpin a 30pence share price target.Where the current share price stength will take us is as yet an unknown.Personally I would be heartened if 14pence were reached over the next two/three months.
We might all yet be surprised,on the upside,by the scale of the recurring revenues which WSI are about to generate from forthcoming OnLine and Task Management contracts.
Hope so,anyway.

I first heard about WSI when I looked at there Half Year Trading Update on 09/10/09
I liked what I read/figures etc and research/comments from Mudbath.
The only downside is the lack of news ie the Walmart part recently. Things like that could make peoples eyes open to this company IMHO

A nice 250k for someone, heaven forbid there should be some news on the way, and if there is, will they tell us this time ???

Back on to my hobbyhorse about AGM's I attended the Imagination Tech AGM on Friday. What a day !! I was there over 4 hrs and I was one of the first to leave. There was coffee pre meeting,a presentation to investors from CEO and FD lasting one and a quarter hrs, question and answer session for 30 mins.Lunch with a buffet containing about 30 different dishes, wine, beer, juices. Demonstrations of their kit with directors and key staff available to talk to informally.

The 60 or so very loyal shareholders savoured every moment and came away inspired, companies like that desrve success. If Carlsberg did AGM's it would look very much like an IMG event.

The price might be 9pence ++ by the end of today-I hope.
Yet in the scheme of things;as long as we achieve 30 pence sooner rather than later;it is of little consequence.
The inflection point will undoubtably occur once the directors of WSI move from understating(at best)current prospects towards alerting the market of the glaring capacity for its SaaS offerings,to generate eye watering levels of recurring revenues, profitability and CASH.
