Hmmm, on reflection I think it may be old news mudbath, I base that on the fact that they talk about having had 18 yrs experience, which from 1986 when the company was founded makes it circa 2004.In which case I'm not quite sure why it should pop up on google alerts now !!! Heh hoh the results should provide some more accurate/current facts.

One(slight) worry ARTY; Barnaby Quinn is(or was)CEO;not as stated in their press release,Ian Lenagan.
Part of my bullish scenario revolves around Quinn's prowess. All will be revealed shortly.

mudbath, Yes exactly, that's why I wasn't completely sure it was "new". Amazing what you can stumble across on the web !
It makes me wonder as to why they are not promoting themselves on their website with all this information, maybe just saving it for the results as you suggest.

Thanks ARTY(star man!!)
It's just typical that there is currently no apparent reference to this North American expansion on the WSI web site.
Surely yet another serious positive though to add to those due to be announced with the prelims.

I am heartened by your comments ARTY and also by today's upward stirring in the SP;as such movements have been conspicuous by their absence for some weeks now.
Will look into Stilo when I have a moment.!!

Just to cheer you up Muddy, I'm sure there are numerous lurkers, such as I, who bought in here earlier on the strength of your thorough research and are simply waiting for WSI to release some news.

I also share the battlebus view that at present there are some great companies at very low valuations.Confidence seems to have been dented by the recent market drop and I also think there is a lot of anxiety (probably misplaced)about the Capital Gains Tax changes to be announced next week.

Anyway, keep up the good work I always enjoy your postings. As an aside, I've also been building a small holding in Stilo as the Microsoft connection is too much to ignore and the recent tie up with JustSystems seems to underpin growth/ potential future success.

I have bought over 100k WSI shares this week and the price never even flickered.
The Directors would not have added(at higher prices)had not the corporate plan been well on track.Could be that one of the institutional holders is shedding a few into the market.
Like you battlebus,I remain hugely confident....
and yet..... the silence remains deafening.

And just as a taster of what the report might incude; we are expecting release of the detail of the US Tier 1 Retail client for WORKPLACE ONLINE,and how these new revenues will impact on future profitability.

On top of this we will be informed of the Infor collaboration, which should serve to introduce the WSI offerings to retailers worldwide:-

"The newest module, Infor WPM Task Management, powered by WorkPlace Systems is designed to help retailers solve THEIR MOST COMPLEX LABOR CHALLENGES.

INFOR,with more than 2000 retail customers,140 of the worlds top brands and almost FIVE MILLION retail associates BEING MANAGED BY THEIR PRODUCTS,
IS THE NUMBER ONE GLOBAL SUPPLIER OF BUSINESS SOFTWARE TO THE RETAIL SECTOR.

"INFOR WFM Task Management-POWERED BY WORKPLACE SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY-gives you the tools you need at the pace you want,to make sure that stores are executing your corporate vision efficiently and effectively."

This is all additional to their normal revenue streams.

Sorry, but my charting interests only extend as far as "coiled springs".
Much subjective visualization is required to identify the parameters.
In view of the MMs' wanting WSI shares yesterday it looks as though my gonads are in safe hands.!!
