About time!!!

Pre-close period update

Ahead of entering its close period, the Board of WorkPlace Systems International
plc ('WorkPlace') provides the following update.

Trading for the year ended 31st March 2006 is in line with management
expectations. As previously reported, the year has seen the commencement of a
substantial investment in key sales and marketing staff, development management
staff, infrastructure improvements and marketing in order to provide a
foundation for future growth. Progress with these resource improvements is
almost complete in line with the Board's expectations.

The acquisition in September 2005 of Labor Solutions International Inc. ('LSI')
has now been fully integrated into WorkPlace. The Board's initial assessment of
the business has confirmed the benefits that LSI will bring to WorkPlace both in
the USA and other international markets.

The Board is pleased to announce the signing of three important contracts:

Menzies Aviation plc : a five year contract has been signed to provide
WorkPlace's Aviator software for worldwide implementation throughout the Menzies
Aviation Group.

Travelex UK Ltd : Travelex's UK operation - part of the international foreign
exchange company - has contracted to buy WorkPlace's Staff Scheduling and Time
and Attendance products.

E.ON UK plc : WorkPlace has signed a contract to supply E.ON UK plc with the
latest versions of WorkPlace's Staff Scheduling products for wider use within
E.ON UK's operations having previously supplied Midland Electricity - now part
owned by E.ON - with its Staff Scheduling products.

Initial revenues have been taken in the financial year to 31st March 2006 for
Travelex and E.ON and will continue in the financial year to 31st March 2007.
Revenues will be received from Menzies throughout the five year contractual
period.

Hmm, can this be misinterpreted?....

The Board have noted the recent sharp fall in the company's share price but know
of no reason to justify this since the company continues to trade in line with
market expectations.

"As usual, the company will be making a pre-close statement at the end of March 2006."

Ah - they did March 2004, but not March 2005?

Worth noting that there was a positive movement in the shareprice post March 30th 2005 pre-close update. Let's hope we see more of the same this time round!

Should be this week if their last RNS is to be believed.

The did say "as usual" for a pre-close statement, yet I can't seem to find any others....?

Hoping days rather than years!

I would have thought so.. they may roll out old and new in but I am not sure. I think it is a reasonable punt from here.. the idea would have been for each issue to have been worth more than the last.. perhaps some leverage is being applied so they sell on the options?? any way it will all come out eventually and todays price will hopefully look cheap in a few days/weeks/months/years time.
